Default When did you start watching wrestling and stopped watching?

For me:

I watched from roughly 1999/2000- 2001. I watched Heat on Sunday as I didn't have sky sports sub and after 01 Heat got pulled from channel 4 meaning I had to rely on word of mouth, VHS tapes and the occasional staying over to a friends house. When Heat and WCW got pulled almost simultaneously, it destroyed by link with wrestling. However, I do remember the invasion angle and I remember Chris Jericho winning the UT. I think Y2J winning the UT was the downfall. I like Y2J great wrestler but he wasn't the 2008 Y2J. He was the whiney cowardly heel and he just didn't make it work.

I cam back to wrestling roughly in 04/05 when my parents got a sky sub. I remember the brand division, a lot of HHH and evolution. Also a lot of Kurt Angle and Cena. I remember watching a good fued between Cena and Carlito (and some guy called Jesus?). Cena was VERY entertaining back then. I stopped watching wrestling again roughly in the period of 05-07. I remember when Cena got traded to Raw. I think thats when I stopped watching. It wasn't bad, it just didn't have the nostalgia of The Rock and Austin. Funnily enough I remember the Rock was listed on the WWE website as the roster for like a year and the only appearance I could remember was some diva contest. Looking back Smackdown was very good around 01-04/05 with Angle.

Came back in 07. Dunno why It was terrible. For some reason I had the patience to get through all of Cenas' reign. The only good thing to come about was Jeff Hardy. Yep thats why I registered in 2007. I wanted to see the Hardys' get big. They may not have been main eventers during the AE but they were a huge part of if and so I wanted to see them succeed. Also because of how much sacrifice the tag division at that team put them through.

When Jeff got suspended after an excellent match against Y2J, I remember tuning in and out. But it was 2008 where things were god awful. Cena didn't even lose his title, he had to forfeit because of injury which was a huge anti-climax. Then there was Vinces' Million Dollar Mania. The show was unwatchable.

Came back in 2012 for the Rock v Cena. Really liked extreme rules. Since then its been god awful albeit nowhere near as bad as 2008

I began watching around the early 90's as well, and continue to watch to this day. Now I will admit there were times where I'd swear off one show and only watch the other, because for some reason Raw and Smackdown can never both be great. Started back up around late '99 - missed the whole Austin part of the Attitude era but had been buying the games still so I was keeping up with the rosters and decided to check back in - caught a few promos from The Rock and Kurt Angle was on the rise and I was like, hmm, ok, I've been missing out.

Late 98 Id say with short glimpes of earlier things like some WCW and Steve Austin in wwf. Continued watching on and off, a lot more on until around 2002 where I started watching all the time. On and off in late 05 to summer of 06. Started watching again every week, 09 was on and off but started to watch weekly when I heard Jeff Hardy was going to leave. I've been watching weekly ever since.

Started in 1997
Stopped in 2005 during Cena's 280 day reign and started watching again at New Year's Revolution 2006 (good timing, huh?)

From the AE to the summer of 2011. I hate Punk. I watched SS just to see him getting his ass kicked.

Yeah WCW Worldwide started being broadcast on ch5 in 99 iirc, but it was initially broadcast on ITV waaaaaaaaay back in like 92/93, I remember it always came on just after (or before...my memory aint so great these days) that Hulk Hogan show Thunder in Paradise. Nitro and Thunder were on TNT UK until it died in 2000, then they moved over to Bravo.
