Re: John Cena does it again

He can still turn... Doing charity works doesn't = him being a face.

Re: John Cena does it again

He can still do charity work as a heel.

Lot of current WWE heels like ADR and Eve do things like "Be a star" campaign.

Re: John Cena does it again

Otunga, Miz and Big Show do a lot of work for the BA star campaign, so why should being heel or face effect what he can or can't do within charities?

Does Cena sleep in that fucking green shirt, cap and sweat bands!!?

Re: John Cena does it again

I think most are missing the magnitude that Cena's heel turn would have on the youth who watches the product. Yes, it would make a significant difference. It's like if Hogan were to turn in the 80's during his hottest period. Cena would need a window, a la Hogan, when he's stale enough, or at a weakened career point, to turn heel. (waits for the mass amounts of comments about how he's been stale for 5 years even though he's still MAD over and that's my point)

My man John-boy. Doing it for the kiddies. Always got respect for what he does w/the charities.

Ehh.. More indications that Cena won't turn Heel anytime soon. Ah well.

Re: John Cena does it again

There's always someone who can put a smile on a kids face (and so there should be). The WWE just has to give someone else a quarter of the push they've given Cena over his horrifically stale career and they can rise.

Plus the WWE needs to appeal to all demographics. They haven't for a long time. It's not as if Austin/Rock/Taker weren't doing children's charities whilst still being part of an incredibly entertaining product.

Re: John Cena does it again

They aren't just appealing to the charity kids/kids in general for the demographic. To compare that as a reason for the product being less that stellar atm, is baffling. Besides, most of those kids request Cena anyways. If he were to take a bit of a backseat, or next to, another guy to be a top face I'm more than positive Cena would remain #1 in the children's hearts.

When are people going to get off what the rating of the show is and understand the booking/writing is the real flaw currently. It's TV PG anyways. Not TV G, or TV Y7. You'd think it was by the way people moan and groan.
