Re: Edge Appreciation Thread

The guy had it all. He could do it all. He did it all. Edge was even an expert at extreme spots.

Edge also had one of the most triumphant returns of all time. It was incredible.

Edge is truly one of the goats. He may not be a monster draw or anything like that, but he ranks pretty high in my book.

Re: Edge Appreciation Thread

Yup his 2006-2009 character was fantastic. Then he started degrading because of the abuse he put himself through during the Attitude era (anyone from the AE who's still working deserves props...the WWE didn't give 2 fucks about the risks they took back then), but he carried Smackdown better then Batista or Orton did. Also, a fantastic feuds with Cena/Taker.

He has a fantastic wrestler and deserves all the success he got.

2002 would have been too fast?!

Edge was given a chance at the main event with matches against Lesnar big show and Angle HE WAS READY, WHY ELSE WOULD THEY GIVE HIM ALL THE ACHIVEMENTS ABOVE!

Hogan Taker Lesnar Big Show all held the belt that year yet they didnt have that stuff under their belt beforehand so IT DEVALUES THEM ALL IN UNISON

they only gave him the title because after all the legit guys Cena defeated within the elimnation chamber THERE WAS NO-ONE LEFT and because Edge cheated on his wife, now if you think about all this WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE IS THAT SUPPOSED TO SEND TO THE REST OF THE WRESTLING WORLD

Edge WAS great, anybody who has seen his Over the edge 98 match with Owen Hart would know that but COME THE FREAK ON MAN

Re: Edge Appreciation Thread

Edge was absolutely fantastic. I've seen some people here call him a bad worker, which tbh makes no sense. I can't recall a single bad match he's had.

^furious, projects self-image onto others^

Talent/charisma draws. Not size.

Re: Edge Appreciation Thread

I think he somethimes gets a bit overrated but of course he was an all around talent and I loved his reign of terror on smackdown.

Re: Edge Appreciation Thread

He was a GREAT heel, in 2006 (my mark year) I hated him literally, I don't want to think about what would have happened If I saw him in front of me in 2006, I'd attack him for sure!

Re: Edge Appreciation Thread

One of my favorites of all time. He was the sole reason for me to watch Smackdown, I haven't watched an entire episode since he retired.

Re: Edge Appreciation Thread

Edge made the most cause the big stars left .
I never really saw a main eventer in edge, he always looked for me mid carder but thats because i havent seen much of him as a main eventer.

But he looked like real nice and passionate guy.

Favorites: The Rock, Austin,CM Punk, Brock Lesnar

I HATE: Zack Ryder, Del Rio, Wade Barret
