As seen in "Beyond the Mat", the 1999 Royal Rumble where Rock is repeatedly crushing Mankind's head with a chair so much that it seems even Mick has an issue with it when they go backstage.
Rock's all friendly with the family beforehand joking with Mick's kids, and the next minute he's delivering sickening head shots to their dad. Yeah I'd call that brutal.
