(This was actually the same meet and greet I met him at.)
Yeah, he was a jerk to his co-workers, but he deserves his place as he carried the company to the best of his ability.
I used to bash Warrior unmercifully over the years, but I have new found respect for the guy after finally meeting him. He talked to me for like 5 to 10 minutes giving me an inspirational speech then even hugged me before I left his table. Fucking awesome! (Y)
One hit wonder, no passion for the business. Couldn't wrestle, couldn't cut a decipherable promo. Was just lucky he had a great look and the kids loved him. Could have drawn money but was too green and had a horrible attitude.
Does not deserve HOF but then the value of HOF has died since after 2005.
Have heard from numerous people he's very cool to the fans and chats with them about everything. Yeah, he definitely deserves to get in but he's known for being a bit of a prick and WWE did quite the number on him as well with that DVD so no surprise they can't agree.
Vince should just shut the door on warrior, the guy bashes
the company on a daily and also the wrestlers that worked with
him, so as far as the HOF goes well Warrior you burned your
candle at both ends and now its up to the folks you started
that fire with, those are the ones who'll vote you in....Good Luck!
Politics should not keep deserving guys out of HoF status. If he was the top guys for a year like Warrior with the torch passed to him by Hogan then he should be in the HoF regardless of how much of a dick he was. The only exception I make to this is with extreme things like murdering your family. That should keep a person out of HoF inductions.
Note to Triple H - Now is your chance to get your win back! Induct him, and set up one match to get that win back like Hogan did, lol.
the thing is with playing hard to get, is that the person trying to persuade you at some point loses interest
the WWE should tell him theyre not interested anymore. And the warrior can spend the next twenty years in the knowledge that every fucker and Koko B Ware is in the HOF except him
who gives a shit about the hall of fame anymore? It use to be something that the true legends get inducted into, now its got so many celebirtys and people who don't deserve to be in the hall of fame its made it unrelivent.
Vince is crazy enough to do it. The last thing he needs is Warrior going on an epic 10 minute rant on the business and hating McMahons. I'm sure VKM & company will laugh it off.
I think he deserves to be in the HOF. He made his mark big time and was world champion. No matter what he has done (apart from committing major crimes) he should be in.
Ha, I cant wait for the Warrior to show up on Raw and have the whole viewing audience scratching their heads collectively and wondering: What the hell did he just say?
He deserves the HOF just as much as that other piece of crap Jeff Jarrett.
Pretty sure at his peak he was the number 2 guy in the company, and until Austin/Rock he was apart of the biggest Mania match of all time. (Yes, Warrior/Hogan was bigger than Andre/Hogan or Savage/Hogan). I don't care what the numbers say.

I don't know a whole lot about Warrior. I've only seen so many videos of him performing and a couple of his weird promos. I also don't know much about the things he's done out of the ring aside from reading that he dissed the company and the people he worked with. From what little I saw, though, he was definitely a character, packed full of energy, and put on cool performances. I don't really care either way if he got inducted, but celebrities that make one-time appearances get inducted too so why the hell not induct a guy who (at least at some point) did something for the business? I'm sure that Vince is more than capable of sucking it up for one night.
Warrior can be a shit stirrer at times. I'd be worried about what he might go off about during his induction speech if I were WWE. As a fan it would be pretty interesting to watch though.
