Recently watched JBL v Eddie at Judgement Day 2003(?). What a match, and so much blood. The crowd were going fucking bananas. The answer is Yes, many times yes.

He was just another vanilla midget who wasn't deserving of beating a top star like lesnar, let alone headline wrestlemania as a world champion.

edit: I'm obviously just joking. I thought that was clear.

Of course he is a once in a lifetime talent.

Eddie Guerrero was a fantastic talent, extremely charismatic, and over. And besides, it's not WWE's fault Brock decided to up and quit the company all the sudden.

You all may make fun of people with "IT'S STILL REAL TO ME DAMN IT!" for the young kids or marks or whatever, but you guys are even worse than them. You have this deep-seeded legitimate rage for Cena and his fans to the point where you let it affect your day to day life.

Grow up. Seriously.

Re: Was Eddie Guerrero a legit WWE Champion?

He's the greatest heel in the history of the business, an amazing babyface, charismatic as fuck, great on the mic, great in the ring and was the most over man in the company when he won the title, so I'd have to say no.

121 SUPERBOWL TV SPOTS! Civil War, Batman V Superman, X-Men!

You can blame bloody football for the delay of this weeks podcast as we wanted to get in all the TV Spots for the 2016 Superbowl! We're talking Captain America: Civil War, Batman V Superman, X-Men Apocalypse, Ninja Turtles, Independence Day Resurgence, The Jungle Book and others probably!

We also touch on news concerning Rogue One, Zack Synder defending his version of Superman, Deadpool's rave reviews and more!

Of course he was legit. People seriously need to get Vince's image of a main-eventer out of their heads.

Re: Was Eddie Guerrero a legit WWE Champion?

Of course. If Eddie were still here he'd be one of top guys, probably floating in and out of the ME barring injuries or absences. While Benoit slid back to the mid-card and languished there, Eddie had the charisma, drive and ever expanding Latino market backing him. He was a creative man and the type of stories stemming from his character were compelling as hell, if a little risque sometimes.

I love professional-wrestling.

Re: Was Eddie Guerrero a legit WWE Champion?

Eddie was one of the most charismatic and talented performers in the ring and in character I have ever seen not only in wrestling but in entertainment. When he won the WWE Championship it was one of the best moments in WWE for so many people. Eddie was legitimately a great wrestler and he was a legit WWE Champion. The pressure of being WWE Champion may have been a bit much for him personally (by his own admission in his autobiography) but I thought he held the belt well for the few months and programs he defended it.
