If you posted only the news in the WWE section then no problem but it seems like you try to prove here something, "Cena is now in the Hall of Fame, you must feel real dumb now"
No, Cena sucks and why should a HOF induction change my mind about him. Even if The Rock, Stone Cold and Hulk Hogan vote and inducted him all together this would not change my mind about him. You embarrass yourself like these fans who say "he sucks because he can't draw" because you say "he is inducted in the HOF so that means that he doesn't suck"

Bruno Sammartino hated Stone Cold as champion and would probably induct him as the last guy in the HOF. That means that Stone Cold is the worst champion in WWE history because a legend like Sammartino would induct everybody but him.

Look at the nonsense you posted

LOL you really believe that the WWE machine wasn't responsible for that indirectly?
You think that if the WWE machine hasn't pushed him to the moon that the people from various parts of the industry would vote for him? If he had a career like Gregory Helms or Sylvan Grenier nobody would vote for him.
Please induct Kevin Nash next year in this Hall of Fame but not because of nWo but because of his run as Diesel in 1995.
-He was a champion for a year
-He was the leader of his generation, the New Generation
-the company was still #1 in USA
-he main evented every PPV
-the Raw ratings were always around the fantastic 2.5-3.0
-although he was not responsible for a wrestlingboom 1995 at least wrestling didn't disappear and that means that he saved the business in one way or another

If Cena is HOF material and can be compared with The Rock, Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold because of his accomplishments then Diesel derves it also.
Screw the nWo, Kevin Nash was 1995 already in the same league as Hulk Hogan

Jack Swagger accomplished in his career more than Roddy Piper, Rick Rude and Jake Roberts combined but he is still nothing and these guys are legends. You don't achieve greatness with title and Royal Rumble wins
Business actually did crash with Kevin Nash on top in 1995, planting the seeds for the closest that the company has ever come to its death.

Cena is probably the most underrated draw of all-time just because those who despise him are so vocal about it. But the bottom line when he shows up is too big to ignore what he brings to the table.

The last time Cena took an extended absence in 2008, the focus became the critically acclaimed Jericho vs. HBK feud. However, as aesthetically pleasing as that feud was, IT DID NOT DRAW, which is why Cena came back and won the World Title from Jericho.

Comparing Cena to Swagger is the equivalent of comparing Tom Brady to Matt Cassel. Such an argument deserves mockery from me.

Also, Sammartino is an out-of-touch old fart. That is what invalidates his opinion on pro wrestling in the 21st Century. If DJ and Bret were like that, their input would be worthless as well.

Sting still can't get in. How can a 'Supposed' Icon still not get in?

Why SHOULD Sting be in? If he gets in for Starrcade '97, then Roger Maris should have a bust in Canton next year.

Only if he signs WWE not TNA, Sting would be in HoF & challenge Taker WM29

This is not only rare in terms of getting voted in on the first ballot, but speaks volumes of him as a box-office draw and in-ring performer despite what keyboard warriors and hypocrites who end up watching and paying to see him perform say about him.
You and how many others recognise this as the real hall of fame? 10? Yeah, I'm sure more people give a crap about the MMA Observer, oops I mean Wrestling Observer hall of fame than the WWE Hall of Fame. Who even pays Dave Meltzer for his bullshit made up stories anymore? That guy should've gone out of business years ago, all he does is shit on the business.

But yeah, Cena is a hall of famer for sure.

WCW 2000 Russo Mark saying that a reporter who covers the business, analyzing business numbers and providing extremely thorough obituaries, with more depth than anyone else is bad for the business.
