For me it's Edge...

Mick Foley. Daniel Bryan is right up there too. Give him a good Wrestlemania moment, and he goes straight up to the top of the list.

Re: Best life story to the top

I would probably go with Edge as well. Inspirational. Part of the reason he's my favourite of all time.

Re: Best life story to the top

I like HBK's, especially with Vince playing up the whole "boyhood dream becoming a reality" scenario on the road to HBK winning his first WWE Title.

Jeff Hardy as well, considering he started in WWE at the age of 16 as a jobber and virtually put his body & life on the line for many years before finally winning the belt, which definitely had to be emotional for him.

Re: Best life story to the top

Bret Hart.

Born into the industry he couldn't have been closer to the business growing up if he tried. Rose to the top of arguably the world's most famous wrestling family, paid his dues big time, made his way up the old way, first in a tag team, then mid card, then top of the heap. He still holds the record for the most matches wrestled for WWF/E. Widely known as the greatest technical wrestler of all time.

The Rock for me. He's now at the top of the world, higher than any other wrestler.

Yeah The Rock is a pretty good one. The whole 3rd generation thing seeing pics of him as a kid with Andre the Giant etc, the college football, overcoming the horrendous first Maivia angle to become the top of the heap, and now a massive movie star. Doesn't get much better.
