Since when is it important to be good in the ring in woman's wrestling? nobody takes it serious, it's all about the looks and Christy is pretty darn hot. Real woman, not fake like most of current and ex-divas. It's a frickin barbie show.

Christy Hemme was destined to become the next Trish Stratus. The girl has the same fire for the business unlike most of these fitness models. That´s why she is still with TNA as their ring announcer and backstage interviewer, although she is unable to get into the ring anymore. She worked hard to find another spot in the business. She didn´t go off into the fitness model business, try to land some other TV/Movie gig, become a professional golddigger or pornstar.

Charisma and current WWE divas? The last time some diva in WWE had charisma was....no her name was Kharma. I can´t even remember.

I think I've found another wrestling fan who doesn't know what the word charisma means - and probably thinks it's Ric Flair cutting a ten minute promo to sell tickets.

Just take a look at the video in the OP - she is animated, giggly, bright and infectious. If you don't think she's charismatic and the other girls you listed are - I'd love for you to explain why you think that is and how you came to such a conclusion.

Yeah WWE in general dropped the ball with the Divas. I remember when Christy won the diva search, a few weeks later WWE released about more than half of their female wrestlers (Nidia, Gail Kim, Ivory, Jacqueline, and Jazz). Then they forced Christy to wrestle with only a month or so of ring training.

It always felt to me like WWE didn't actually want Christy to win the Diva Search as they were focusing all of their time and energy on Carmella DeCesare instead (the girl who was runner up to Christy)...hell, even when Christy won thanks to fan votes, they bought Carmella back to have a pillow fight with Christy at Taboo Tuesday 2004.

I think it's a shame that Christy didn't last longer in WWE...I always thought she was easily the hottest one in that Diva Search anyway....but she was awful as an in ring competitor so I'm not surprised they got rid of her when they did.

She was no good in the ring but she was enthusiastic and had personality, something most divas sorely lack. Dropped the ball is maybe pushing it but she definitely could have provided something more than a lot of the currently employed
