John Morrison can work a match AND was a spot monkey too. In all honesty he should have won the title at Extreme Rules 2011, he was really over, hell they booked him over Cena in that match cause everyone wanted to see him win. Too bad for his injury.

Hmm Foley has his moments of spot monkeyness. His HIAC match against Taker always comes to mind. Talk about one of those few moments where I do in fact go "You know, maybe Flair's right. Maybe he is a glorified stuntman" But then he does stuff like his matches against Orton and Edge and I'm like "nah"

But seriously though, Hardy is the best damned spot monkey to ever step foot in the WWE. What a maniac who was clueless on how to structure a match but somehow I didn't give a fuck. He crashed into shit and that's all I could have asked for from Hardy. Jeff Hardy that is.

Jeff Hardy. The others could actually wrestle. Jeff Hardy was the epitome of a "Spot Monkey" he was one dimensional. You take the spots out of his routine and he has NOTHING

tbh i don't see why people see it as such a negative thing. In WWE spot monkeys get over quickly and are entertaining for the casuals, yes they need to learn how to work a match but they help making a match entertaining.

I'm not a big Hardy fan by any stretch but he oozes charisma in his matches and is/was one of the best sellers in the business in my view. He's never going to have a great match without spots but he can do a pretty solid one.

Also, John Morrison has developed some pretty solid psychology over the last few years so i wouldn't call him as a spot monkey just based on the fact he's got some flashy moves. Even AJ Styles has similar moves and isn't regarded as a spot monkey(helps that he's a Top 10 worker in the states)

I voted Jack Evans in the poll but that was probably just due to my own dislike of him. He isn't a horrific worker without spots.
If I could vote again I'd go with Sabu. Pretty Much his entire moveset are spots. He has found more uses for a chair than any other wrestler I know of

Ya , Pac and Ricochet are far from spot monkeys. Earlier in their career , yes. Their time with Dragon Gate wrestling produced two simply fantastic wrestlers.

Foley's also far from a spot monkey. Yes he's been in spotty matches and crazy memorable spots but he had some of the best psychology in the business that thrived in hardcore matches but also was very underrated as a straight up wrestler.

I don't even know would I count New Jack either? Was he a spotmonkey or just a straight up shitty wrestler who didn't have a clue what he was doing and was just plain reckless?

John Morrison is a great spot monkey. Flawless execution with some jaw dropping spots and crazy athleticism. All flash but sadly no substance. So I'll go with him.
