That didn't happen because I didn't write anything/tweet to Bret. A few years ago Eli Roth tweeted one of my new videos though, I'm not a fan of his but I felt awesome.

I really don't like pestering people on Twitter, it annoys me so much when others do it, especially those "my grandfather just died, can I get an RT?" tweets. I tweeted a smiley to Punk once, of course no reply. Unless they have like some Q&A session or I really have a legit question I want them to answer, I don't bother.

I don't use Twitter, and the whole spamming technique just to squeeze a morsel of recognition from someone famous makes me cringe. Obviously it's become a resourceful social media tool in the last few years, but I just can't get behind it.
