Re: How can WWE recreate and reinvent itself so as to create the next biggest boom?

TNA doesn't need to get better, it needs to gamble and take the risk. It has to go on the road and invest in production values. Panda energy aren't keen on doing that, but as Hogan has been saying recently, its this decision that stands between TNA being major-league and hovering around 1.0's. Going on the road and pumping millions into promotion could backfire or send them into the stratosphere. Another optional risk is to poach a big name, that costs money too.

But hey, its not our money. I dunno if I'd take the risk either.

There are a million ways to turn Cena heel. Knock five shades of shit out of Rock at Wrestlemania with an iron bar, have a planted 'family' in the front row leave in disgust. Have Cena come on next night with Cole hyping an explanation at the end of the show, maybe with his old Thug music. The quarter hour for his explanation promo would annihilate anything in the past ten years. Dress him in black/casually. All this can be done while staying PG. Someone as powerful as Cena can reverberate change across the entire product.
Cena's heel turn would just be a rip off of Hogan's heel turn.People have already seen that.

I don't understand why people think the main reason for WWE failing these days is the PG rating. I think the main reason is because of the 3 hour show. It drags on, to many ads and to much filler. You get bored of RAW after an hour, just because thirty minutes is ads.

I don't why everyone doesn't just DVR the show. It makes it so much easier and more tolerable.

You don't think Cena going to TNA and turning heel wouldn't draw for both companies?

Yeah in 1996 in a company which has now been dead for eleven years. Believe it or not a good deal of the current casual crowd will not have seen it and will only know Hogan from his red and yellow days. A similar heel turn plus Cena leading a serious heel threat against the WWE's continued existence would work.

accept Cena has had heel tendancies long before Chain Gang Commander, his smile seems so fake anyway so it wouldn't be too far fetched
