Most of the profession based gimmicks in the mid 90s really bothered me. For example, why on Earth would a Dentist need to wrestle. Don't they make a lot of money?
Fake Diesel & Fake Razor were also pretty shitty. It was clearly an example of Vince McMahon thinking he could get away with something and trying to make a statement that he didn't need Scott Hall & Kevin Nash to make Razor Ramon & Diesel stars in his company.
Mantaur was another special one. Half Man, Half Cow. That one had to be a rib on either the performer or on his manager Jim Cornette. I love that it had to be Half Cow. It couldn't be a Minotaur which would be the cooler option. No no. He's half cow, and has to run around yelling "MOOOOO!". Awful.
But the worst of the worst just has to be Xanta Klaus. An evil Santa Claus from The South Pole that was bought bad paid for by the Million Dollar Man. OK, what is wrong with this gimmick? Well beside the fact that it is cartoony, silly, & just plain nonsensical, how on Earth did they think a Santa Claus gimmick was going to last beyond December? I mean won't it be weird to see a guy dressed up as an Evil Santa once Summer rolls around? I honestly have no clue what they were thinking with this one.

The Hurricane was a good comedy gimmick (certainly the best thing Helms ever did in his career). It did get old eventually, but I really enjoyed it for a good while. Who will ever forget his win over the Rock? Okay a lot of people will, but I thought it was brilliant.
