A couple things that come to mind is Greg the Hammer Valentine's shin pad with the bone on it, while his gimmick itself wasn't scary, I remember cringing as a kid thinking the jobber was going to get his leg broke. I was a huge mark for the Hulk as well until he left the WWF, I remember being scared when Earthquake splashed him prior to their clash at Royal Rumble I think it was, few years later I actually met Mr Tensta and turns out we're from the same town. Papa Shango doing those things to the Ultimate Warrior, that kind of got to me.

When I first saw Giant Gonzales, it freaked me the hell out, the fact he was so tall and he had that costume.

As a kid, scared the crap out of me.
No looking back, too bad it was so cartoony, a bit more serious Voodoo priest gimmick could've been awesome.

The scariest of the last couple of years- Taker
In an all-time prespective- Kane in his early days, no doubt!
