Re: Scary gimmicks

Goldust, maybe not scary but he is very disturbing, at least his early career was, as a kid even his theme music would make me just walk away.

Bastion Booger is somewhat terrifying just for the fact someone thought that was a good idea to put in a wrestling ring.

Good call on Goldust (well, first six months of his gimmick anyway). Didn't really scare me, but he freaked me out somewhat nobody had ever seen anything like him. Dustin Runnels played him to perfection.

Luna freaked me out when I was younger. Nice rack though.

What? The Samoan Bulldozer was the scariest thing ever. No one in WWE history is close to him. Fact.

Re: Scary gimmicks

Being a young lad, when Kane unmasked scared the shit out of me and the following couple of weeks.

Also anyone remember the Tommy Dreamer puke eating gimmick? Yeh well it had the Goldust effect on me

Re: Scary gimmicks

I was a kid when Jake Roberts' snake bit Savage and I remember being scared watching that happen. Taker + Shango were legitimately creepy to me. Taker in a cool way, though. That's why I liked him. I was a little older, 13ish, when Mankind first debuted and he was creepy but I was old enough then to recall him from the past as Cactus Jack and it was more of a "Damn, he's really good at this role" moreso than actual fear. Same with Kane's debut. They did a really, really awesome job at making and building that storyline. Top 3 story lines in history, in my opinion and the creepy/scary aspects were a main reason for how well it came across.

Re: Scary gimmicks

When I was younger and I saw undertaker hang the big boss man and the hell in a cell went up, I shat it and thought he killed the big boss man, was scary to see at a young age.
