Once Upon a Maneuver12: Leg Drop
Possibly the most successful maneuver in terms of number of people who have kicked out of it if we take Hogan's usage into consideration, it is one of the simpler maneuvers where the size of the opponent does not matter.
Though it has been used as a mid match move for a very long time with not even a pin attempt following it, Hogan, made this move famous by using it as a finisher. There are lot of variations based on where, how and what you do before using the move which is signatory for the wrestler like say the double leg drop of Kofi Kingston or Guillotine leg drop of Undertaker or bulldog leg drop of Kelly Kelly and Melina (reverse of it). Is Hogan's Running Leg drop the most successful maneuver in terms of kick out ratio and how do you take it as a finisher? |

Hulk Hogan comes first to my mind when I think about leg drop.

When I think of the leg drop actually Matt Hardy comes to mind. The leg drop from off top of a cage on Edge to be exact.

Hulk Hogan's finisher.I ll never forget how much I loved seeing that move as a teen and being shocked when Rock kicked out of it.

Re: Once Upon a Maneuver12: Leg Drop
Hogan's is the first that comes to mind because it was a finisher.
But I always enjoyed Bret Hart's walking leg drop. He just threw so much intensity into the impact: |
Re: Once Upon a Maneuver12: Leg Drop
Yokozuna's looked the most devastating

Re: Once Upon a Maneuver12: Leg Drop
Why did Hogan pick a Leg Drop as his finisher? It's weird. I mean it's a basic move.
I always enjoyed The Hardyz Leg Drops from the ladders. |
Re: Once Upon a Maneuver12: Leg Drop
Undertaker's Guillotine Leg Drop comes first in my mind.
