Lanny seems to actually care for Randy, but, holy shit, the whole HoF thing had me wanting to punch him in the face so fucking badly. Why would anyone make that a requirement? If Randy earned the spot, let him have it.


I can't wait to hear Randy's name announced for the 2013 HoF. Fuck you, Lanny.

See, the thing is this idea that Randy wanted his father, brother and himself in the Hall of Fame never really came out until after Randy was deceased.

So basically Randy can't call it fake because he's no longer with us so Lanny can say whatever the hell he wants. It's really unfortunate. He could be telling the truth, but we'll never know from Randy what he truly wanted or what really happened between Randy and Vince.

The Hall of Fame requirement does seem a bit screwy. Not saying that I wouldn't love The Genius in the HOF, but it seems strange in a way.

At the same time, Lanny seems very disturbed by Randy's passing. You can see how tense and emotional he was regarding the fact that no one from the WWE (outside of Finkel) reached out to the family, and I believe that's where a lot of the "he seems like an asshole" stems from. He seems bitter about that, but not in the usual jealous way that people get bitter.

By the way, was anyone else disappointed that he wasn't reading his responses from a scroll in the form of poetry?
