Obviously some moves are poorly done (i.e. not making contact or little contact) but if moves are perfectly executed, do wrestlers feel pain?
They are trained how to fall and "bump", but yes it is incredibly painful landing on your back and knees on a consistent basis. The moves themselves probably don't hurt at the time so much unless botched; it's the long-term damage that leaves you writhing in pain in bed at night where nobody sees you, and being dependent on pain meds to control it. One of the reasons why wrestlers like Punk say they don't intend to wrestle for too much longer.
Lol, it's a diving shoulder block mate, far less dangerous than a standard DDT or Powerbomb, let alone some moves like a Frankensteiner or piledriver.
I'm" basing it off of what I've seen, guys have injured their neck and back taking that move (mainly smaller wrestlers); You're focusing on the giver, not the receiver and it's still a visually impressive move when done right. The OP didn't ask for comparisons otherwise I would stated head drops.
Brodus or Mike Knox using the run cross body caused me to go ouch whenever I saw it.
Goldbergs spear as mentioned.
