Re: Who are your 5 favourite wrestlers of all time?
1.) Stone Cold Steve Austin The Texas Rattlesnake - Steve Austin did for wrestling what Micheal Jordan did for basketball, and did it while kicking his bosses ass. Trailblazing through the 90's from Stunning Steve to Stone Cold Beer Guzzler, Steve kicked, punched and stunned his way into the #1 spot for this guy.
2.) The Rock The People's Champ - This goes for THE OLD ROCK, with the wedge haircut, oversized silk shirts, glasses and the original eyebrow. This guy could cut a promo with a guitar, a random jabroni backstage, or even a greasy haired goateed Micheal Cole. He had the mic skills and ring acumen to hang with literally the best of them.
3.) The Undertaker The Phenom - I'm omitting the brief (and sad) American Badass reign here, but The Undertaker has been the picture of wrestling for me my entire life. From the old school NES/SNES games, i've always loved Taker. His in ring skills may be fading, but the memory of the urn, purple smoke, dead eyes and that loveable fatty Paul Bearer will never go away.
4.) HHH The Game - Love him or hate him, HHH has done a lot more than anyone on the scene today, and nearly as much as those who top this list. Marrying the bosses daughter has advantages, but what he did before was key. DX was WWE's answer to the NWO, and answer they did. In a more fun, less menacing way DX made its place into WWE's best factions as well as helped HHH get to #3.
5.) Chris Jericho Y2J/Lionheart - I remember how excited I was knowing that Jericho was going to debut in the WWE late 1999, he was hot off of WCW and expected to explode. His shiney shirts and weird popped up pony tail lead him to almost immediate success as Intercontinental Champion, and then into Beating #1 and #2 on this list in one single night (not that he didn't cheat)
So that's my list love it or leave it, you can't deny the contributions from these 5 WRESTLERS.
