Powerslam Magazine

Didn't know where to post thread so its ended up here...

Are there many readers or collectors out there of Powerslam Magazine(UK)?

Been reading it a few years now & the content is pretty awesome & I have a bit of a collection going on. Any views or favourite issues you wana talk about?

had every one from 98-2000 and I sometimes pick it up still. Used to be a lot better

Always heard good things about this. Never seen a publication of one.

Is it pretty much just the British version of PWI? A kayfabe mag with bits and pieces of insider info?

I haven't picked up an issue in a few months but that magazine (along with Fighting spirit monthly) has got me through a lot of night shifts.

It's not really kayfabe at all

I've not read PWI but it certainly is not Kayfabe. Must have a decent following as its been going 18 years...

I used to get it all the time from the years 1997-2000, but got put off how much they hated absolutely anything. I picked up my first issue for years the other day and not a lot has changed. I'd thoroughly recommend Fighting Spirit Magazine over it any day.

Re: Powerslam Magazine

I buy both Power Slam and FSM every month. Out of the two, I prefer the writing style of Power Slam, but FSM has aces up its sleeve in regular guest columnists, including the likes of Jim Cornette and Steve Austin.

Power Slam is definitely more cynical than FSM, and their editor Fin Martin is definitely not a Cena fan!

Re: Powerslam Magazine

May check out FSM occasionly then as it does look good with the guest columnists but will still stick with Powerslam...

I started with issue 3, but stopped in about 2002 when I subscribed to the Observer and suddenly realised just how much better it was.
