Pro wrestling will never die. Even if TNA and WWE went bust there would always be the independents or backyards whether it is legal or not.

WWE is REALLY strong atm. Buying out WCW not only gave them 99% of the market but also gave it more history in terms of archival footage. I can only see WWE going bust if say a promotion was bought by a multi billionaire who doesn't care about profit (a bit like Chelsea, Man City, PSG. They can then buy all the talent they need. WWE would also have to be incredibly complacent and poorly run (they are atm).

When you think about it, Vince has survived:

Expansion
Mel Phillips sucking little boys toes
Jimmy Snuka "allegedly" murdering his girlfriend
The steroid scandal
Several sexual harassment allegations (biggest being Pat Patterson)
Numerous drug related, wrestler deaths
A government investigation
Over The Edge 1999
Benoit
World Wildlife Fund
Numerous failed business ventures
Several highly offensive characters & angles
Several rather big names speaking out against WWE
Several damaging media portrayals

And likely many more I missed.

Makes you wonder: If WWE survived all of that, what else is there?
That's amazing.

Vince made it through that steroid scandal back in the mid 90s I didn't think he had a chance in hell but somehow he actually made it. Given their monopolistic stranglehold on the industry, it'll be a long time before this question can ever be realistically answered, they can run into big hurdles but considering what they've been through... yeah it would take a combination of things lol.

I for Matt Hardy (A Matt Hardy guy since '99):

Ryback beating Cm Punk for the WWE Championship, but saying that I think that this will be the turning point for Cena he is using this to make himself heel... You shall see.

Pro wrestling has been in our society Since the times of Romans its the oldest sport in the world and it has constantly evolved to keep up with the constant change of time.Unless all the superstars Die in some plane crash i dont see any danger to Wrestling.
