Default What would a WCW 9/11 tribute show be like?

I've always wondered this. The 9/11 attacks happened just months after WCW folded. WWF hosted a Smackdown tribute show that featured to WWF superstars and the Alliance coming together to pay tribute. I've always been a sucker for "What if" scenarios, but if WCW had lasted a few more months, would both the WWF and WCW put on a great tribute for the victims? I'd imagine there would be no cheap shots to the other company, and it would be a pretty tame show. Granted, at that point WCW was just focused on surviving and looking forward to Eric Bischoff's "new" WCW.

Vince Russo would probably show up with a Bomb belt along with Muhammed Hassan and tell them that he had joined tha Talibans and that it was a set-up all along

Looking back there is only one thing I think you could guarantee from a WCW 9/11 tribute show and that is... far too much of Tony Schiavonne talking lol. And I mean far fucking too much!

Tony Schiavonne leads us in a minute silence, a clip of which would be shown again and again throughout the episode. Then the national anthem, then WCW's default Sting vs 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair match. It would end in an inexplicable run in, as was standard. Presumably, Kevin Nash would've been World champion and he would've recreated the infamous 'Finger Poke of Doom' with special attraction, Rudy Giuliani - taking the title from Nash to send a message to the American public that evil can be triumphed over. Scott Steiner would've come out and cut a shoot promo on Osama Bin Laden, calling him a jealous bastard before unleashing a profanity laden torrent of obscentites and racial slurs. Lex Luger would come out under his old American Patriot guise, driving the Lex Express straight into the arena, before winning a battle royal against a bunch of foriegners. Eric Bischoff rolls a series of vignettes where he challenges Bin Laden to a match at Starrcade. At the top of the show, Rudy Giuliani inexplicably awards the title to Booker T, who faces Goldberg and drops the title to him. Kevin Nash comes out, challenges Goldberg and is awarded a shot. Rudy Giuliani inexplicably interferes in the match on Nash's behalf, and Nash ends the night with the title.

I vaguely recall talk of Tony Schiavone being released after the Big Bang reboot and replaced with Joey Styles. An effort to rejuvenate the whole company, big heads were gonna roll apparently. If WCW made to late summer it would've looked a lot different and I assume their tribute would've been tasteful and appropriate.

God knows what it would have been like. Seeing as Thunder was taped after Smackdown, they probably would have run a show to mimmick WWE in any event. Scott Steiner going off on the extremeists would have been priceless though.

On a sidenote, I remember JBL urging the US government to turn Afganistan into a carpark...
