They had that TLC tag match with Beth and Natalya against Laycool in 2010 I think. It was well done from memory. With WWE being so image conscious there's no way they'd allow their women to blade. Keep in mind that their looks are also the major selling point.
People who sit through 98% of divas matches feel like they're having their time wasted. For a good chuck of the last three years the company has treated women's matches and feuds as filler. You don't have to like what's produced, but no viewer likes having their time wasted for reasons stemming from the incompetence of the performers and the company that hires/uses them. That should be motivation enough to want some change to the current climate of women performers from just about everyone. |

Establish characters first, like they did with Chyna, Trish, Lita etc.. "Female wresting" doesnt sell, not anymore. Hiring models or wrestlers makes no difference.

I think its getting better, they have managed to make us feel for Divas like Kiatlyn and build them up properly, specially Eve. I find Eve very entertaining to watch. Soon AJ will join too. AJ vs Eve for a feud might bring back some spark to the division.

I used to think diva's wrestling was pointless, terrible etc, but after going back and watching some matches with some of the best like Trish, Lita, etc, it's not bad.
They have some decent talent, but honestly they should do bra & panties matches, etc like they used to sometimes (as someone else said, not trying to sound sexist but i'm sure it drew ratings).

As someone else said, its not even about whether they're wrestlers or models. Its about how WWE books them and builds them up, then the division will better.

What they did with AJ and Eve was well done, just needs sustainability. The reason AJ and Eve are the two most over divas is they were both put in big storylines with the top stars. Just having the divas go out there and wrestle 2 minutes matching isnt going to accomplish anything.
Aj vs Eve a few months ago mightve actually meant something when both were more over than they are now.
