Which PG era wrestler would find success in AE?
Which of the current PG Era wrestler WHO WAS NOT A PART OF ATTITUDE ERA would be on top in AE without any change to his character, gimmick, role, booking or abilities?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
By booking, I meant to ask, STRICTLY FOR EXAMPLE, Cena being booked as Superman; would he be as successful and over(even if it is only with the kids)? Sorry if it did not come through as intended.

CM Punk.
His entire character could flourish even more without the restrictions of being PG.

Quite a few considering the writing/booking does most of the work in the department.
Both sets of wrestlers had the talent.

Um, dude, if you don't change their booking, Cena, Punk and Sheamus would be on top regardless...
Also, abilities? Of course you won't change their abilities, they wouldn't be the same person.
Anyway, my short answer is no-one. Although the aforementioned ones would get a nice mid-card start and climb to the top after the Attitude Era ended (Plus Orton. I'm not sure about Punk because of his look, but he would probably make it eventually.

Re: Which PG era wrestler would find success in AE?
I don't get this Punk would be awesome back then idea. He's doing now what everyone did in the AE, so it's far more difficult to stand out. And with his assholeish personality and the large amount of talent that was available, it's likely he'd have stints in WWF/WCW and then go to ECW.
I actually don't think any would be a big success, mostly midcard to upper midcard with Bryan and that's about it.

Heath Slater would have won a singles title, if you count that as success.

That's very true, I remember all those mid card/lower card guys with characters did great.
For some reason, Slater vs. D'Lo Brown, I just see it BABAY!

Re: Which PG era wrestler would find success in AE?
None of them would be. Looking at the current crop, CM Punk and Cena would be mid card if they did well. Bryan might squeak into European title contention. Sandow could have made it during the Attitude Era mainly for his character although it skims close to the Right to Censor stable but again he wouldn't be top end of the card, European to IC level. Ryback wouldn't be anywhere because the true Goldberg was still kicking around. Orton might have been around IC level as well but with his lack of any personality he'd find it hard to compete against Jericho, Benoit etc.
It's sad but it's true and it's a sign of how weak this era is. Hell when you have guys like Mark Henry who was nothing more than a joke during the Attitude Era as respectable champions it shows you how weak the era is.

Brodus Clay, but slightly more misogynistic. Clay and the Godfarther would create the least tolerable tag team ever.

I could see CM Punk at around mid card. The roster was so strong in 2000.
