Just for the record, I have no issue with Angle fans. If you enjoy him, good for you. But Angle's a guy who totally go against the mechanics of pro-wrestling (selling, pacing, storytelling etc) and is all flash in the pan with little substance.

Give me one match that is better than Kurt Angle matches. He's the goat because he has a real wrestling background and he back it up in the ring with anyone. Go ask Cena himself and he will tell you with a smile in his face that Kurt is better. Kurt Angle in the WWE was constant with his work whether in the ring or on the mic something you don't see everyday. since when does Cena even sells moves, have a clue dude. So you're telling me that Cena is not booked as a wrestler, well you got that right he's just an entertainer (doesn't have an enough clue how to wrestle like Angle) he's not an olympic gold medalist you know. Also Kurt Angle has more charisma than Cena, look at the big crowd reaction he gets. The guy was the most entertaining guy in the WWE along with Foley, Rock, Austin etc. until he left WWE. Whether you like him or not, it's not my problem that you're so PG and have a little knowledge about the past.
Edited: About Cena. Punk today had put on good/great matches with Ziggler, Sheamus, Bryan (He fought with Cena and the match sucked), Henry, Jericho, Mysterio, ADR, Morrison, etc. What did Cena do with them absolutely terrible. He never was constant, boring most of the time and only shines with the best.

Re: Rate the wrestlers you hate
Three pages and only one HHH. I am impressed.
Out of 5
4.5 - Mic Work (just the eloquence) - Good voice, very little if any slur.
3 - Promo Skills - He certainly knows how to draw out the crowd reacting.
2 - Charisma - He just followed every technique to it's best output. Seems to need others to maximize effectiveness.
3.5 - In Ring ability - He doesn't do bad matches, just bad finishes, had to get one in.
3 - Storytelling - Even bullshit stories he invests himself decently.
3.5 - Ring Psychology - He CAN be a five. By that same token he CAN be a two, it all depends on his mood.

I think he is the most over-rated star in the biz. I know I might get "flamed" for this, but heck there are a lot of guys who can turn their head and scowl/smirk. And when he bangs on the mat, it's just plain cheesy.

If you honestly think Angle is better than Cena AND you could back it up and tell us WHY those matches of Angle's are so much better than Cena, I could maybe, JUST MAYBE, respect your opinion.

How in the world have you backed up your opinions? 95% of Cena's matches are garbage, just like his feuds. Truth, Miz, del Rio, Sheamus, Kane, Big Show- all garbage feuds filled with unmemorable formulaic garbage matches. Have you ever seen Angle do that? Have you ever seen Angle go through 5 shit feuds in a row filled with inane 2.5* shit matches? No, you haven't? That's right you haven't.
Every time Kurt stepped inside the ring at RAW chances were almost certain that you're gonna be entertained as hell by his character, his promos, his antics and witness the match of the evening. Every time Cena steps inside the ring at RAW (or on PPV for that matter) you can only hope that you wont rake your damn eyes out. Bland, boring, void of any innovation, creativiy or subversiveness, just the same old formulaic lackadaisical, "just another day in the office" lackluster performance.
And it doesn't matter whether it's the "embrace the hate" feud with Kane, Lil' Jimmy fued with Truth or the one with Johhny Ace backed Big Show, it's always just "bussiness as usual", same antics, same match formula, same behaviour inside the ring, always exactly the same garbage match with little to no deviations from the basic recipe.
And coserning criticism of Kurt's psychology; yeah, Kurt may sometimes get carried away with his spots and stuff but almost always delivered, and mostly delivered the kind of matches that are unforgetable and have became legendary. Cena rarely delivers anything, and most of the times it's below nothing. Maybe 1 memorable match every 10 PPVS and one good match every 20 RAW performances. You've never seen Angle do that, you never saw Kurt struck out 9/10 of his stuff as garbage filler performances.
Honestly, Punk has had more great matches in the last year then Cena had in his whole career. Someone like Kurt is beyond comparison and to even try that is laughable and borderline troling.

Re: Rate the wrestlers you hate
I'd really like to hear what some people's interpretations of 'psychology' and 'storytelling' are. Especially in regards to those who critiqued Punk's game where those aspects are considered by the vast majority his strongest assets in-ring nowadays.

Having an amateur background does not make someone a great pro wrestler though. It's an entirely different system. It may make you a better athlete (and not many, if anyone, could touch Angle in his prime) but it doesn't necessarily translate to a great worker.
It's funny how this debate arose. I came across a Finlay interview tidbit on Youtube a few days ago in between work and found out that he was the one who trained Angle when he first made the jump from an Olympic-trained sport into professional wrestling (or at least had a huge part in it. He said Angle would likely never admit to it although I saw that as a bit of jostling). He talked about how Angle remarked that he always saw pro wrestling as "punching and kicking" and taught him to put holds together (as well as headbutt people apparently). Lo and behold, a Twitter comment Kurt made a while ago in regards to the PWI's listed top 10 saw him remark how pro wrestling was all about "getting your big moves in."
A lot of people see the guy as someone who has the pieces of pro wrestling on pat but can't assemble them by himself unless he has someone in there slowing it down for him and working at a smarter, more digestible pace. Those stories where Eddie would lose his cool with Angle after some of their matches weren't just something to completely disregard you know.

You think everyone of those matches sucked? In a bit more detail, what was it that made Cena's matches with those guys so much different (and worse) to those which Punk wrestled against them?
