A dude that just registered with 69 posts trying to call me a troll is pretty funny. Especially when I even linked to my source, but whatever.
Are you seriously trying to reason with putting Kurt Angle, the guy who put on dozens upon dozens upon dozens of incredible matches and some of the greatest matches in the history of pro wrestling and is one of the greatest performers in general to ever step inside the ring with the guy who puts on a 2.5* performance every 27th match and has Bull Buchanan and Great Khali on his top 20 matches list?
Also, congratulations on joining a wrestling forum years before me, some street cred right there. Momma must be proud.

Someone's buying into the gimmick, me thinks.

I can't believe people still think that Cena needs to be carried to have good matches. If anything, Cena's carrying most of his opponents. He has good-great matches with Khali, Big Show and Umaga and I don't think you can make an argument that they are good workers.
Cena has proven that he can get good matches out of The Miz and their WrestleMania match was a slip-up with god-awful booking. Everyone in the crowd didn't care for the match and was only waiting for Rock to get involved. Nothing Cena and Miz could of done would of made them care. However, they worked a super fun TV a month later that was entangled with shitty booking.

Mic work 3.5 He's good but nowhere near the level people make him out to be He's just above average. Don't get me wrong, at the end of the day, he gets the job done on the mic but he's nothing spectacular.
Promo skills same as above.
Charisma 2.5- He's bland and generic looking in my opinion. Nothing about him screams superstar.
In Ring ability 2- He ain't got no moves.
Storytelling 3- but he can tell a decent story, especially when partnered with the right person. See Christian.
Ring psychology- it's the same fucking thing as storytelling. Well there goes the credibility of this thread.
Oh and in 2012 are we still arguing Cena's ability to tell a fucking story in that ring? Jesus Christ. But hey, the same people who say Cena sucks are the same ones who think Angle is a wrestling God. Speaking of Angle.
Kurt Angle
Mic work/Promo skills 3.5
In ring ability- 4 he can pull of a lot of shit.
Storytelling/psychology 1.5- starts off good and then his matches quickly develop into a train fuck of no selling, high impact moves and finisher kick outs.

First off, Umaga was a not good but great worker ever since his Ekmo days. Great worker. Now on topic, Cena had a couple of good matches like with aformentioned Umaga, Edge or with Punk. But during a ten year period. It's the same as with someone like HHH. He also had some good matches. But when you look at their bodies of work as a whole, you notice that that bad match/good match ratio is simply ridicilous. You notice that for every one of those good matches there's like 20 of absolutely horrendous ones. Like someone said before, if you buy a Kobashi DVD you wont see it filled with 2* matches with Bull Buchanan and JBL. It's all about the sample size.
Also, whoever lists performances so fuckin' eyebleedingly bad like against Khali, Big Show or Miz as "good matches" should seek professional help.

Point taken about Cena's consistency but I do believe a good portion of his 'bad matches' (vs Miz at OTL comes to mind) have bad booking to blame. He does have bad matches that are entirely up to his fault and his opponents. His match against R-Truth was mind-numbingly bad and bad booking wasn't to blame. What I'm trying to get at is, if you remove all the shitty booked matches from his body of work, he isn't THAT inconsistent.
I wasn't saying his match with the before mentioned guys are 5 star masterpieces, but it really does show of Cena's ability when he got a fun match out of Khali at Judgement Day '07. Cena sold the threat of Khali being a monster that can't be beaten and it made Khali look much better than he actually was.
