Jobbers are a necessary part of the pro-wrestling ecosystem. If the main-eventers and mid-carders beat each other all the time, there would be a serious lack of tension in the build-up to storylines.

What Pyro said and actually since they throw the title on anyone not even that. Can you imagine Jack Swagger being inducted to the Hall of Fame for being a former US Champion, World Heavyweight Champion and maybe tag team or IC champion by then. Well I can't.
