I don't consider the Taker/Mankind encounter at KOTR 98 much of a wrestling match. Two spots off and through the cage followed by long delays to allow Mick to recover and then a few spots with tacks and it was over. Hardly a great back and forth wrestling match. Just was a collection of some of the most extreme spots the WWE has ever televised especially in one match.

HBK vs Angle at WM is probably my favorite wrestling match but there are so many great matches it's hard to pick just one. I've always been an Angle fan because he's a fellow western PA guy and I've always been a huge fan of HBK's ring work. I hated his sexy boy gimmick and while the DX gimmick was better it was still pretty sophomoric annoying stuff. Just had to tune out his gimmick and enjoy his work in the ring.

Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart at WrestleMania for me. My personal favorite match of all time, and IMO, arguably the best.

Depends what you mean by greatest, to be great it doesn't always have to be the most technical or best wrestled match. I can't say these are the greatest but just my favourites from a person standpoint.

Macho Man vs Steamboat WM3 (Will always remember this as it was my first Wrestlemania)

Kurt Angle vs HBK WM21 (Absolutely outstanding in every aspect, in my opinion better than his match with Benoit)

HBK vs Chris Jericho No Mercy08 (Greatest ladder match of all time without doubt)

Especially once you consider the match that Taker and Angle had at No Way Out in 2006.

That said, for me the best WWE match of all time is without a doubt Hart vs. Austin at Mania 13. Had that match taken place inside a 70,000+ stadium it's stature would only increase ten-fold.
