Re: Who is to blame for the end of Ryder Revolution
Revolution? Really?
Hogan turning on WCW was a revolution.
Stone Cold winning KOTR was a revolution.
This was a cruel joke that needed to end and did.

Kane giving Bro near death experiences every week was some of the best TV of the year.

Re: Who is to blame for the end of Ryder Revolution
It was Zack Ryder who essentially ended the "Ryder Revolution." The reason is because his character doesn't have the shelf-life as say a Cena or even a Stone Cold. Ryder's character is based on Jersey Shore and other stuff like that. Jersey Shore is a fad that is eventually (and thank God) going to die. It's not going to be around forever.
Zack either has to evolve or he'll be stuck in limbo with a gimmick that was popular in 2011.

I still follow Ryder, regardless of whether he's a jobber or main eventer. Don't know why, the guy just appeals to me.

Re: Who is to blame for the end of Ryder Revolution
Us. We, the fans just got bored of him. When he was this underground movement we all loved him and thought it was hilarious when he made insider jibes on his show. Then when WWE started giving him a push the IWC kind of left him behind and went onto the next hot topic.

Re: Who is to blame for the end of Ryder Revolution
Vince, who else?
As for his potential, if it wasn't so abruptly ended, I think the Ryder Revolution could've lasted. Midcard for life, sure, but there is nothing wrong with that.
Eventually his character would evolve and such (hopefully), but the fact that Ryder is still over to this day just tells us how good things could have been.

HAHAHA, that has been gold.
I love gimmicks and characters, but I think Zack Ryder was way too lame, with his absolutely moronic catchphrases and his "I'm supossed to be funny but I look, talk and act like a fool."

Re: Who is to blame for the end of Ryder Revolution
IWC jumped off the Ryder bandwagon [Justifiably] and became Sandow supporters [Justifiably].

Creative team. The guy was buried and buried like a bitch. It surprises me that he is still a bit over.
The gimmick also didn't help, in the long term has no appeal.
I think Ryder's time is still to come. I still mark out with you Brosky!
WOO WOO WOO - YOU KNOW IT!
