The legacy20: Faarooq

Becoming the first "OFFICIAL" afro american world heavyweight champion in WCW should have been enough to etch his name permanently in history of pro wrestling other than leading the Nation of Domination, being a part of APA and "DAMN!"ing the people to their delight. Yet, he too rarely figures in GOAT or Legend discussions like his APA Partner.

How do you see his legacy?

Spoiler for Give the guy a break:

Re: The legacy20: Faarooq

Excellent performer but shouldn't even be considered as one of the GOAT. But should get more credit from the IWC and casual fans alike.

The guy was so dumb, it took him an hour and a half to watch 60 minutes.

Re: The legacy20: Faarooq

Excellent performer.. but he always had to look for the right thing to say, and would usually just blurt out "DAMN".

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

Re: The legacy20: Faarooq

"Damn" really sucked and caused people to remember him solely for that instead of his accomplishments.

Great power wrestler. The Dominator is one of my favourite finishers of all time.

Re: The legacy20: Faarooq

I preferred him as 1992 Ron Simmons. It was nice to see that he got a little bit of exposure at the end of his career though. Solid hand, but a midcard guy for life.

Re: The legacy20: Faarooq

In wwe he was a career mid carder/tag team wrestler, but he very well deserved more then what wwe gave him.
