Because most people that age think "That fake shit" and I don't think theirs anything WWE could do to change that ever IMO, it's just that demographic, when they mature past that age they probably return if they find something appealing to them about it.
Vince.. as dumb as he is knows that even because of the ufc its hard to watch fake wrestling.. i remember when ufc got popular a few years ago and i watched and watched and when i started watching wrestling again it was embarrassing to be honest..
i got over that hump within a month but still..most people are still like this sadly
They do target college students, to a degree. They often have events at colleges. But it's not the main focus cause that would be stupid. Students are busy as hell. Tons of work, tons of parties, tons of friends and girls. When I was in college I lost touch with what was on TV cause I had so much else going on in my life.
simple $$$$$$$$ theyre broke and most likely gonna spend whatever they do have on food and living..... kids on the other hand see something they want.... cry till theyre parents get them it.... so wwe makes everything appealling to a kid $$$$$$.
They would have to switch to TV-MA content to reach that demographic, and it wouldn't be good for Linda's Senate run. You got as much chance of that happening as finding a three-legged balerina.
This and this. So long as WWE is successful as a business and doesn't have to put up with competition there's no need to cater to anyone else other than kids. Linda's opponents always use the things the WWE has done in the past against her so, in order to look good, the WWE is now kid-friendly and is all about charity organizations. Not that affiliating with charities is a bad thing, but IMO WWE is trying too hard to be goodie-goodie and not caring enough about the creative side of it.
Favorite wrestlers: Undertaker - Dean Ambrose They're the best. Not even up for debate. My main hoes: NeyNey -CHAMPviaDQ Best Mod: LC (Call me)
Because marketing-wise college students are one of the most difficult and least rewarding markets to try penetrate, by nature theyre transient, skeptical and with very little disposable income.
Far smarter for a business of WWEs nature to target young kids and their parents.
Personally speaking my college years were a complete break from watching wrestling, too many other things on my mind in those years (namely partying).
And that's the WWE's problem. They think only about the money. Not the fans.
