Default The legacy19: John Bradshaw Layfield

Having held 24 championships in WWE in a career that spanned over 14 years making himself a Grand Slam and Triple Crown champion using various different gimmicks (cowboy, redneck, acolyte, wealthy businessman) finding different kind of success in each of them, his name rarely comes up whenever a discussion on G.O.A.Ts and Legends is happening.

How do you see his legacy and which run of his did you enjoy the most?

I'd certainly consider him a legend. Imo he made his mark on the industry and had a very successful career.

Talent/charisma draws. Not size.

Legendary! JBL run was epic his 1 title run was better then the endless runs cena orton batista sheamus e.t.c i could on. Since Jbl lost the belt i still can't name a better title run epic heel people payed to see him lose it.

I'd consider JBL a very good wrestler who had a successful career but I look at him kind of how I look at Edge and Jeff Hardy- highly decorated rather than highly revered. I think the word legend is too easily dispensed these days. I consider people like Verne Gagne or Lou Thez, Hulk Hogan etc legends- not people like JBL or Edge.

Not a legend. Other than the WWE title run, his career wasn't memorable.

Legend. He did a great job as a main event player after being given the title in a heartbeat after having spent his entire career as a tag team wrestler in the midcards. Plus he is amazing on the mic and commentary. Ring skills are not that great but he did the best with his abilities.
