why is this guy not running WWE, seriously he has an amazing eye for the business and knows how to fix it and run it properly. He knows what the fans want and what the young talent need to have to get through to become a star. Wish he would be running creative and in charge of talent the now but i dont think that would happen:/ watch the youtube link below to understand what im talking about:

Vince really does have a hard on for poor JR for some reason lol. I'm not as big on the guy as everyone else here is, but he's pretty much right on the money here, the only problem is Vince, Stephanie, and HHH are pretty much telling the guys to follow instructions or get the pink slip.
Because JR is right, and it hurts Vince's ego. And to add, Stephanie legit dislikes JR.
The problem today, is that nearly every wrestler or superstar, whatever you want to call it, are nothing but walking androids who's actions are commanded by a memory disk inside their heads.
What I'm saying is, too much stuff is scripted, generic promos and segments, and alot of it recycled. That's why the product is not as close as entertaining as it was 10~15 years ago. They need more freedom. The reason Punk's 'shoot' promo was so good, was because it wasn't scripted.
I'm 100% sure if given freedom, even the likes of Cena, Orton, Sheamus, etc; would be alot more entertaining.

The problem isn't that wrestlers are content with just doing what they've been told to do. It's not that they aren't free thinkers either. The problem is that they all know that if they speak their mind, there's a good chance they're going to see themselves unemployed within weeks. Vince is the one who isn't being a free thinker, it's his way or the highway these days
I agree 100% with what JR said on this, but I understand why the wrestlers are like that. Example being AW a few months ago, he actually tried on his own to make his character interesting with his personal mic, and he was given the heads up to say whatever during the PTP's matches, but then he says a harmless joke and gets fired for it. Thats why no wrestlers today do anything too risque, its because of what happened to AW. I know they were like that before AW, but this example just proves them right.

problem is vince is old and out of touch. you see how people his age drive on the road? swerving all over the place, driving 5-10 mph below the speed limit, and terrified to do anything at 4 way stops. funny how the wwe was so cutting edge at one time and now it's so tame and pg. does someone that old and out of need to be running the wwe? in his mind, he's still the man who king of the pro wrestling industry, but that doesn't mean what it used too and it's mostly on what he did a decade and 2 decades ago. the last several years have been shit. really how many fans would even be fans at all if they didn't download everything off the net. back in the day when a big ppv was coming up i'd have to order it. nowadays it's not even worth a second's thought other than wrestlemania. the product overall is too tame and predictable.
basically Vince thinks making an edgy product will make him look bad in the media , when in reality it's not the edgy storylines that are giving him the bad press so much as the "Katie Vic" type of storyline
I mean you could produce an edgy non-cornball storyline without raping a corpse or making a naked woman bark on TV , not that i mind both .."Ba-dum-dum-tss"
the CM Punk storyline in summer 2011 is a prime example of an edgy storyline that gives you a great buzz and draws people's attention
the problem is Vince became media's bitch
