Do You Think Wrestling Would Be Better If...
the bigger brands such as TNA and WWE began to acknowledge each other's existence? I'm not saying to have another Monday Night War, I'm merely stating that it just seems goofy for either a former star show up on the other show and everyone pretending that person hasn't accomplished much other than being "The hottest free agent in wrestling!"
Like, Alex Shelley for example. I hear he signed with WWE, so wouldn't promoting him as "The Former TNA X-Division Champion, ALEX SHELLEY!"
It makes the new guys look more credible and if a pro-WWE crowd is like "TNA? I'll tune in!" the ratings would hopefully get better. Then maybe MAYBE have a few inter promotional matches here and there, but nothing major.
And maybe work contracts so that a certain company doesn't copyright there names, so everytime they switched over they didn't have to change their name.
It just doesn't seem right for both brands to go on like the other company doesn't exist, so by acknowledging they do, it can actually help build up guys who switch promotions.
