Anyways, this rumor has been going around forever. Like another poster said, why not give them a weekly segment on Raw instead. WCW seemed to have their cruiserweight division pretty sorted back in the day and they didn't another show to do it.

Remember that rumour that Daniel Bryan was going to unify the WHC and WWE Championship shortly after WM28. Remember the rumour that Michael McGuillicutty, Drew MacIntyre and Heath Slater were gonna get pushed? Remember that rumour that Cena was taking back the WWE Championship at NoC.

Whoever these 'inside sources' are I envy them, they get a lot of money for either doing fuck all or get a lot of money for not existing, which I imagine also doesn't involve doing much.

And if this is true, the show will not be watched by most of the IWC.
Most of the IWC doesn't even like to watch Superstars, the show where (most of the time) are the better matches. but without the bigger names.
The Cruiserweight scene doesn't have even 1 big name in it. The biggest is maybe Mysterio, and is a uppermidcard/parttime maineventer. He won't even want to be in it, to begin with.
