The Legacy2: Randy Savage

One of the craziest characters ever to enter the ring and entertain the fans both in the ring and outside with his promo skills but was always relegated to the second position, thanks to Hulk Hogan who was there before him wherever he went.

How do you see Savage's legacy and would things have been different had he managed to stay in a place where Hogan was not (say Hogan in WCW and Savage in WWE or vice versa)?

There is a poll too.

Spoiler for Give the guy a break:

One of the best wrestlers of all time. He is pretty much flawless. His in-ring skills, mic work, character, and charisma were unmatched in the WWF during the "Golden Era."

Re: The Legacy2: Randy Savage

In my view, the greatest of all time. At his absolute prime (roughly WM3 through WM5) I was a young kid and still hopelessly caught up in Hulkamania, but as I got older and especially now, I look back and realize that Savage was actually the perfect wrestler. Not just phenomenal skills and grace in the ring, but promos that were off the charts.

"I am the cream, yeahhh... the cream of the crop, and no one can do it better than the Macho Man Randy Savage!"

Not removing until:

Re: The Legacy2: Randy Savage

Randy Savage was one of a kind in everything he did. When you think about a larger than life character, in and out of the ring, Macho Man personified what it means. He lived Macho Man Randy Savage 24/7/365. Total package on the highest level, great main event worker. One of the best/most versatile mic workers of all time, intense, comedy, over the top, sarcastic, every aspect to perfection. Charisma machine, captivating, electrifying personality and was a huge star for over 15 years in wrestling and the mainstream media. There would never be another talent like him. Icon. Top 10 overall.

Size doesn't matter, buddy, it's what you do with it that counts. Savage is my favourite superstar of all time. Great charisma, a great look, countless great matches, a unique persona, professional, hard working etc. He got not one, but two great matches out of Ultimate Warrior. Not many people can claim that.
