Cena stable idea

Going to lay out an idea that i think something definitely needs to be done:

The facts:

-Cena isn't turning heel/going away from the main event any time soon
-WWE needs to elevate some younger talent
-Stables can do this
-This could get another interesting storyline out of him, instead of his corny feuds (not saying he doesn't have good feuds)

The Idea

-Have Cena lead a stable, with two younger stars, Youngster X and Youngster Y [Will be referred to as 'X' and 'Y' from now]
-The stable would be in a similar mould to Legacy, but with Goody-goody Cena type faces
-The superstars don't interfere on each other behalf unfairly etc. like most stables tend to do, because the two younger guys follow Cena's values
-But they would, of course, help each other out, if heels ganged up on one of them
-Have the stable go on for a few months, with X and Y both winning more matches then before, leading up to X winning the US/IC belt, with Y by his side.

-Y slowly grows jealous of X becoming the more successful one, and starts to think Cena favors him.
-Because of this Y has a slow burn heel turn, resulting in him injuring X and costing him the title
-This causes Y to feud with Cena, elevating him to the main event
-Y goes over Cena in this feud (albeit, not cleanly, as he's a heel now)
-X comes back, and wants his revenge on Y, setting up a main event feud between these two
-A new heel, and a new face have been elevated to the main event

Issue with the WWE today: Cena won't turn heel, because nobody is on his level; nobody is on Cena's level, because he won't turn heel.

Re: Cena stable idea

Nop, boring and predictable in my opinion

I don't love John Cena, in fact I don't even like him. But I hate the idea that he is the worst! Cena doesn't bury talents. Talents go down the card after Cena because feuding with Cena... is the highlight of their career. Deal with it.

Re: Cena stable idea

The whole "John Cena will never turn heel" thing became boring a long time ago and it will happen when WWE have someone in place who can do all the things John Cena does which right now despite what blind marks believe about their personal favorite isn't anyone. CM Punk has sold a lot of a single t-shirt but John Cena has something like 5 out of the top 8 or 9 items of top selling merchandise whilst Randy Orton can't be trusted nor can he draw and as for Sheamus he barely gets a reaction.

Personally i'm not a fan of babyface stables as i grew up on The Four Horsemen, The Dangerous Alliance and The Heenan Family and the way a stable should be booked is as a heel group against the top babyface wrestlers on the roster, simple booking 101 in my personal opinion. When John Cena turns heel then i would love for him to lead a stable but as i said in another thread the other day what i would really like is for Paul Heyman to have an alliance with John Cena which will draw HUGE heat and maybe have a couple of younger wrestlers alongside them as it would give the younger wrestlers instant credibility.
