The knowing Punk personally thread, while turning into a joke thread, had a lot of great stories in it, here are some of my Punk stories that didn't make the cut:

1) He's my postman
2) I'm the caretaker for his swimming pool when he's on the road
3) He lives in my basement
4) I taught him everything he knows about wrestling
5) He was in my high school math class but he got kicked out for cheating off me.

Moral of the story: Everyone needs to laugh every once in a while.

1998 and 1999 were great entertainment wise where every raw was must see and great
Storylines. 2000 was great matches wise. Attitude era altogether shits over everything.

This thread is awesome and sad at the same time.

Im not sure how I can separate each year from the other in terms of how good they were. my initial reaction was 1998, then I considered how great 2000 was on a PPV level they were churning out classic after classic (so was 1998 though!) and I haven't considered 1999 which saw the conclusion of Austin/McMahon, Foleys title win and Ministry Taker or 2001 which started with IMO the best Royal Rumble, the best No Way Out and the best WrestleMania all in 3 consecutive months.

I'd probably disagree with myself and IMO theirs no clear winner but im going to say 1998 out of default for being the debut year of Attitude.

2000 was a great year but I always enjoyed 1999 more because both Austin and Rock were on fire and I felt that Rock was way more entertaining in 99 than in 00. 99 to me had more memorable moments but 00 blows 00 away in terms of ppvs and match quality.

1997 is also considered part of the attitude era. This is why I included that in the poll.

Didn't like '98 or '99 all that much. Loved '00 and most of '01 and then '97 had some good stuff too. Would go with '00 though.
