I expect one of them to write essays about Rock's greatness even though he pretty much knows the truth
And what's going to piss me more is when someone actually mentions Taker
The only other names I could think of were Bruno and Flair.I left Flair since Hogan was more dominant at the same time.
It was actually between Bruno vs Austin.I chose Austin since the rivalry with McMahon was peak of pro-wrestling and he saved the company from going bankrupt(WM 14 buys were 750k compared to WM13 with 230k)

Nature Boy Buddy Rogers for starting the trend of cocky heel, strut and all other than starting the "flying" moves incl. sending your opponent to the ropes preparing a slam or clothesline which is so commonly used today.
The Original Sheik for popularizing the trend of foreign heel which ruled wrestling trends for ages after him.
There are many more guys who had really huge impact on pro-wrestling who needs to/can be included in the list.

Antonio Inoki deserve any praises? I always felt like people didn't really give him enough credit, he was a freaking icon in Japan when he was wrestling.

Re: G.George,Thez,Hogan,Austin-4 men with most impact on pro-wrestling?
Gorgeous George helped usher the First wrestling boom period. Hulk Hogan helped kick start the Second and Third boom periods, whilst Steve Austin became the catalyst that turned the third into something really special. Whilst Lou Thesz became a wrestling innovator, inventing the powerbomb and german suplex, I would say the first 3 had the most impact culturally whilst Thesz had the most impact in the art of wrestling
But let's remember these guys are the faces of America wrestling, guys like Antonio Inoki, Tiger Mask (1&2) had great impact in Japanese wrestling and guys like El Santo, Blue Deman, Mil Mascara laid the foundations of Lucha Libre, Whilst Bret Hart became hugely influential for Canadian wrestlers/fans.
