The Ryback haters are so thick headed.
Why can't they accept the fact that he's just over as f**k? I actually went ahead and hotmailed someone I know that was in RAW tonight just to clarify my small doubts, and the "FEED ME MORE" chants were not piped in, they were loud as hell.
He even chanted along actually. I'm sure I'll get the "LOLOL BULLSHIT STORY" comments, so if that's the case, search fan-taped videos during Ryback's matches, and see for yourself if they are piped in or not. *Edit:* Spoiler for If you STILL don't get the point of this:
*I know, another complaining thread, but sometimes this forum makes me facepalm so hard. |
Re: The Ryback haters are so thick headed.
he is over. i dont think ppl believe those chants were really piped in anyways. He might be over but thats because they gave him this super push. He does the same shit every week and was beating on 100 pound jobbers to now beating on wwe jobbers. Like someone said Alexy Riley was hugely over to now look at him, and Riley is a million times better than Ryback on the mic. We'll see how Ryback goes when he has to have a 10 minute match.

he has insane booking protection, he's winning with no loss vs heels. Of course he should have some people cheering for him.

Agreed, every time i see a positive Ryback thread some troll hops in and starts ranting about 150lb heel midcarders. "hurrrr durrrrrrrrrr cody rhodes is soooo much moar ovar"

Re: The Ryback haters are so thick headed.
I think only the Smackdown reactions are piped in. I kinda got bored with Ryback tbh. Hopefully he can have a meaningful feud in the future e.g. Mark Henry. I guess one of the things WWE might be concerned about is whoever he faces and evitably squashes, is going to be buried. And also I get the feeling some wrestlers may not want to work with him, as he is quite stiff in the ring. Could be wrong about that though.

Hes extremely fucking talented, and is that musclebound freak that destroys everything that some of us *ahem* just want to see once in awhile. While some Bryan mark is probably going to hop into this thread and herp and derp about 150lb heel midcarders and indy kids, the great thing about Ryback marks is that they really dont give a single fuck what anyone says. |
Re: The Ryback haters are so thick headed.
I can see why he's over. If I was just started watching wrestling, a big ripped guy just tearing through the competition would be appealing to me. He has a pretty good catch phrase. He just needs to enter the phase where he has actual matches now instead of squashing people.

Re: The Ryback haters are so thick headed.
It's in my opinion that someone isn't pushed unless they manage to go over someone in a meaningful way. Sure, Ryback is defeating Jobbers, who doesn't? It feels to me that since Ryback started appearing on RAW, creative got lazier which resulted in the last two Ryback matches. I can see why they would want to put him on RAW (Which routinely is enough to prove that not all his chants are piped), but without doing anything new, he he might as well just be heading toward another stretch of repetition.
They should be able to easily come up with different angles for the people he's defeating, I'd like to see someone get physically dominated one week, then next week petition a rematch, maybe a street fight or no DQ so the said jobber can use weapons to try and wear down Ryback where their own skills/strength falter. Just a thought. On the second thought, last WWE dropped the ball on a potentially good angle. Alright if we look at Superstars last week, it was implied that Jinder Mahal still believed he would hand Ryback his first loss. What they should have done was go ahead with the NoC event Ryback vs The Miz, and after a good 7 minutes, have Jinder come in and give Ryback the win via DQ, which as we know the title does not trade hands from DQ. Depending on how they are going to play Miz, could lead to a double team, but either way more interesting than what they did last night. |
Re: The Ryback haters are so thick headed.
He's great. He got his gimmick down pact. An arsenal of hard hitting power moves to wow the crowd and now he's connected with the crowd with the "feed me more" chants. The haters can stay oblivious all they want but he's gonna be a major player in the WWE whether they like it or not.
