Bad Blood stop with the posts already, lol.

Anyways, of course, Taker is... In the top.

I don't make lists, but if I did, I guess he would certainly be in the top 25 of all time, in the entirety of wrestling...
Top 5 in WWE, for sure.

Undertaker is Number 1 in my book. He is the overall main reason I keep watching this shit show, Im not gonna risk missing a suprise return as I was lucky enough to catch his return before WM 28. I had quit watching for years before that, and when he returned I told myself I would never miss anymore Taker until he retired. I had forgotten about these guys, had gotten completely out of wrestling 100%, and that night brought me back to my childhood and I was like WOW Holy Shit, that was years ago and this guy is still the badass he used to be.

Ive always been a huge Kane mark and Kane fan too but this is a Taker thread and my answer is HELL YES he is in my Top 5 hell he is number 1 in my top 5 and always will be!

Personally for me it's this:

1. John Cena (this guy went from my most hated wrestler to my all time favorite, that is saying something. I hated him just as much as most of the IWC, but once I started to "get" his character and notice the "cool factor" in it, it made me like him even more. Plus who knows what he may do within the next decade if things stay on track. If you asked me a few years ago if I would root for Cena in a feud against The Rock I would have looked at you as if you had two heads).

2. HHH (A wrestler's wrestler. This guy is the full package when it comes to this business. I even rank him ahead of HBK, who Hunter used to be a lackey of. He can play the vicious heel, or the funny happy go lucky face, or even something more relateable like the former wrestler turned executive who sometimes gets caught up in some kind of drama the jeopardizes his job, like his Mania feud with Taker, or feud with Lesnar. He likes being a businessman but every now and then he wants to kick a little ass because he knows he can still do it. Oh, you can't beat Motorhead playing as you walk down to the ring whether it's The Game, Evolution, The King of Kings etc. The sound and vibes of his theme songs fit the HHH character. The last two Mania's he's been going with Metallica, but whatever).

3. Lex Luger (I just loved this guy as a kid, and as I get older and look back at his moments, I like him even more. Had a great look, and had more charisma than people give him credit for. Just a perfect babyface for his time. You guys can't judge a wrestler based on the character they play, and alot of you are guilty of that. You have to see how well a guy plays a certain character. Would other wrestlers have gotten over as much as they did if they had to play the All American character like Hogan, Luger, and Cena? It's debatable. But I know these three men played those characters to a tee and they also did very decent as heels.

4. Stone Cold Steve Austin (This man had me on the edge of my seat from 1996-1997. He was just pure *******. Not badass, just *******. There was never anything like him during that time period, at least in WWE. It was weird seeing the campy WWE turning into something that you see in everyday life. Seeing the New Gen transition into Attitude was more entertaining than the Attitude Era itself (anybody who labels 1997 as their favorite year in wrestling knows what I mean). The Attitude era itself was too over the to for me, but 96 and 97 was the perfect balance for both WWE and WCW. Austin was a big part of that but as the WWE became more rediculous in 98 and 99, so did Austin. But 96 and 97 alone makes him one of my all time favs.

5. Brock Lesnar ( I know he's has been in the business for less than three years even if you include his original run. But I just like this man simply because of his size and ability despite his size. This man screams monster heel. He is an absolute fucking beast and he was no different during his first run. Never seen anyone like him at the time and to be honest he should have stayed and became Cena's kryptonite. Whether wrestling is scripted or not, Brock comes off like a man you do not want to fuck with. Just the ultimate bully. I hate the man's guts and I love him for it.

I have a very diverse list when it comes to favorites but these are the five men I have been the most intrigued by. I know there are many other wrestlers people like an I respect those wrestlers. Guys like Taker, Shawn, Punk, Ziggler, etc.. are good at what they do but I don't care like I do when I see any of these five men.

He's not in my personal top 5 and I'm not sure if he's in my objective top 5 either. For the latter I'm solid on Rock/Austin/Hogan in whatever order at the top lol but I can't fill the last 2 spots tbh. It's tough because the criteria changes. Nobody can match the 3 guys already listed so then you have to start looking at and considering other things. I honestly don't know who takes the last 2 spots in the top 5. Taker is most definitely in the top 10 though. I don't see how anybody could have a top 10 list without Taker in it. I just don't know where he goes. The thing is though, whether you love Taker or not, the guy demands respect. He just has that venerable aura around him that has been built for the past 2 decades. The man is the personification of a legend. He never reached the heights of the Rocks and Hogans of the world but neither Rock nor Hogan have the legend or the legacy that he has. He's the Undertaker, he has been one of the pillars and foundations of the company for these past 10 years or so and every top 10 list should have him on there imo. Top 5? I don't know but top 10? Absolutely.
