Re: Douchebags and Nicest Wrestlers You've Met
ive met in person buff bagwell, greg valentine, big show, jim ross, and rick steiner and out of them all valentine and ross were truly 'fan friendly'. my cousin and I talked with valentine for over 15mins last year and he told me that if russo and nash weren't playing SH**** A** politics behind the scenes, WCW would atleast still be around today if not at wwe's level.

Dicks:
Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. Met him once after a show, and he was a total ass. Seemed like he didn't give a shit about anybody who wanted his autograph or to take pictures with him. Acted like he was angry he even got out of bed that morning. Seemed to hate every second of being at the event.
Good guys:
Big Boss Man. Met him at the same show as Greg, even got a picture with him (I was a little kid at the time). He put me in a headlock with the nightstick and did a cool wrestling pose. He was really good with all the kids there, and was all smiles even though it was clearly a low-pay show for someone of his caliber.
Christian. Sort of a weird meet. He was my ex-girlfriend's friend's cousin (I was dating the ex at the time, this was like 7 years ago). We went to her friend's house, and I guess her friend had some family over, including Christian and what I think was his gf, not sure. Anyway, I remember commenting to him that he looked exactly like the wrestler Christian, and he's like, "that's probably because I am Christian bro!". I was like, holy shit, hey man! And I ended up playing Madden 2003 with him (he was playing it when me and my gf got there). Dude was really cool and pretty funny.

Kevin Nash seemed like a decent dude. Rob Van Dam was about as cool and laid back as you'd expect him to be, which is to say very.

Re: Douchebags and Nicest Wrestlers You've Met
Teddy Hart was really nice and talkative, spoke to him for a while while he signed my poster. I've slapped Tyler Black's hand and that's my claim to fame with wrestlers as an Australian.

Re: Douchebags and Nicest Wrestlers You've Met
Last July, Jay Lethal came to a local Indy show about an hour and a half south of where I live. There was not a very big crowd there, probably about 50-100 people, and I was sitting right in the front row. I was really marking out when he came out. After the match started, I started cheering him on really loud, and he turned around and gave me this nod as if to say "Oh yeah!" After the match, I got to meet him. I was the last person in line to meet him, and I stood there for a while once I got to the front of the line while he was talking to this guy, but I didn't mind the wait. I heard on here once that he was a jerk and snubbed some kids at a house show, but I thought that he seemed pretty nice when I met him. I thanked him for coming all the way out to southern Illinois, and he said no, that he loves getting to do this kind of stuff. He thanked me for coming out to support him. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so I did not get my picture taken with him. He came back to the area last Sunday, but I didn't end up going because it would have been a pretty long drive, and I had an online test to take.
About a month ago, the day before No Surrender, Christopher Daniels came to my area. He wrestled for the same promotion, but this time, the show was only twenty minutes away. He was an awesome guy. Before the show, he sat there selling DVDs and T-shirts just like any wrestler would do. I couldn't decide whether to buy a DVD or a T-shirt, and he told me that if I bought them both, he would let me have them for thirty dollars. (They were twenty each.) I only had about twenty on me, and I ended up going with the T-shirt after the show. After the show, I was looking at the T-shirts, and I said that I thought that it might be too big. He made the comment that I was about the same T-shirt size as him, and that a large would probably fit me because they are tight-fitting. I ended up being the first person to buy the shirt with the blue lettering. I though it was cool that he made the comment about me being about the same T-shirt size as him when he is billed as weghing one hundred pounds more than me. I also got to talk to him before the show, and I got my picture taken with him.
My friend asked him what his favorite match was, and he said that his match with AJ and Joe was. I congratulated him on finally beating AJ the week before, and he seemed to really appreciate him. It was pretty funny because my nineteen-year-old friend apparently did not know that wrestling is scripted until that show. He said to Daniels, all surprised, "You don't act like you do on TV." Daniels handled it well and told him that once he gets in the ring, he usually takes on more of his Fallen Angel persona. Since local matches are usually more over-the-top than those on TV, my friend kept making comments throughout the show about how stupid and cheesy it was.
After the show, Daniels gave a speech thanking us all for coming, and he said that it was dedicated fans like us who made wrestling the greatest sport. He then, put over his tag team partner, Oliver Cain, by saying that he is going to be a star, and that some day, we will all be able to brag about having seen him live before he got big.
At that same show, I met Tony Kozina and Kyle O'Reilly during the intermission, they did not have much to say at first when I tried to talk to them, but after a while of me looking through the DVDs and CDs that they were trying to sell, they started asking me about my tastes in wrestling and music, and they started recommending different ones. I did not really know who they were, then, and I was pretty pumped when Kyle O'Reilly was in the match to kick off the first episode of Ring of Honor's new TV show.
