i just had that gut feeling if he didn't leave it would've been brock to end the streak. Brock would of been at randy's position at wm 21 but the only difference is brock would have won. Due to him being vince's wet dream of what a superstar should look like what do you guys think. It would have been one of the things to solidify him as the top dog of the company

Lesnar seems like a worth guy to end the streak, only if he stayed with the WWE long term though.

Wasn't Lesnar supposed to face HHH at WM21? Anyway, if he did face Undertaker, he might have had a good chance of winning, but would he really need it? He was already a major star in the company. It's the same way they were planning Kurt to beat the streak at WM22, Kurt's great and all, but he was already a star. He didn't need to beat Undertaker, it would just cause more harm than good. I don't think anybody should really break the streak, it's just too big of a thing to simply end now. Let Undertaker retire undefeated as a little thank you for all the work he's done for the company over the last 20 years.

Probably. If you believe ~teh dirtsheets, it sounds like Taker was almost desperate to give that thing away.

Decent chance he would have honestly, Lesnar would probably still be one of the top five guys in the Company today and honestly we'd be talking about him as one of the biggest stars of all time had he stayed, Lesnar was everything Vince loved and the fans bought into him as a legit badass because that's exactly what he is.

Re: does anybody think lesnar would've been the one to break the streak

Lesnar/Taker at Mania = money. The only thing is, how would they have gone about making it such a huge deal, when Lesnar had already handed Taker his ass at back to back No Mercy matches (Hell in a Cell in '02, Chain match in '03)? For many fans, the story would be 'Can Taker finally beat Brock?' rather than 'Can Brock end the Streak?'. So then what, just pretend their other high-profile matches didn't exist?

I'm a Brock Lesnar Guy.

That or we watched him go over Hogan, Rock, and Taker within his first year of being on the roster and he was supposed to go over Stone Cold too but Austin walked out on the company.
