If you look at Rey's opponents and his work environment and compare it to Sin Cara's, Rey wins easily. Rey not only had guys like Chris Jericho, Dean Malenko, Juventud Guerrera, Psicosis, Jushin fucking Liger, Ultimo Dragon, Eddie Guerrero, Billy Kidman, La Parka, and WCW's many "Luchador of the Week" to work with. but WCW normally did not give a fuck if he went out and gave it his all. They also gave him TIME.

Compare that with Sin Cara and his current situation. He hasn't adjusted to a watered down style that normally does not accommodate the way he did things back in CMLL; he's not a native English speaker, which can hurt communication in his matches, and look at his opponents - Tyson Kidd, Chavo Guerrero, Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, and WWE's "Green big man of the week." Only a few of those guys, like Bryan and Kidd, can work well with him. Back in CMLL, he usually worked with guys his size. He hardly botched as much as he does now as well. Even when you take those things out of the equation, Rey is still better. However, Sin Cara is not as bad as a lot of people make him out to be.

90s Mysterio vs. Sin Cara, Mysterio wins hands down.

90s Mysterio vs. Mistico? That's a toss up.

Old School Mysterio owns. Even Rey knows how to be a better human "DART" by getting tossed into a trailer, than Sin Cara!! lol

Tough one, but ill go with Sin Cara..

Misterio did great in the 90s because he had people to work with..people that actually could wrestle and know lucha libre style. Also he had the freedom to do all his moves.
He adapted very quickly to WWE because WCW was very similar, and most of the people in the company were irl frens of him, and they know well each other.

In the other hand we have Sin Cara.. a man with a lot of potential that is beign limited by the company, he cant even do his real finisher because it could "hurt" the arm of his rival, and they cant even sell this modified move either. Yet he still shine, and is one of the favourites in Smackdown right now.

Trustme, Sin Cara isn even at the 50% of his potential, just give him time, or wait till Averno come to WWE to see whats lucha libre all about.

pd, sorry, english is not my native language.
