Re: WWE Bench Press numbers, top 10 strongest

Some of those numbers are preposterous and you're a mark if you believe them.. it sounds like the same person who wrote those numbers is the one who decides the attributes of wrestlers in the Smackdown vs Raw video games, I could've just pulled them right out of my ass, as they sound like they're based on how KAYFABE-strong wrestlers are.

Just because a wrestler is tall and big doesn't mean he's uber-strong IRL, a lot of wrestlers were just bodybuilders, so they have good physiques but they're not necessarily way stronger than the average person. Also there's no way in fuck guys like Kane or Taker were ever benching 400-500+ pounds even in their prime, and certainly not now, sorry. The only people putting up numbers like that regularly are trained powerlifters using spotters and every manner of assistance in the book.

Re: WWE Bench Press numbers, top 10 strongest

I've heard Kane was the strongest guy backstage, and I do believe it. Cena, Trips, Batista, Lesnar, Taker and others are clearly strong dudes, but they'll never break records.

But yeah, these number=inflated.

Best part was the Lordi song.

Bob Backlund was known to bench press over 500 pounds, so I call B.S. on this list.

Most of this is complete BS.... very few can max bench press 500+ pounds..... even as roided as these guys are.

I doubt all of it. Not the least that Khali benches like 600lbs...

I have heard this as well, many wrestlers talk about after a long flight to an arena over seas or an event, Cena would stay up all night at a nearby gym while everyone is resting up and sleeping in the hotel rooms.

I heard that Lesnar said they used to arm wrestle backstage and the only one he couldn't beat was Kane, so I'm saying Kane or Henry is on top of the list.

Re: WWE Bench Press numbers, top 10 strongest

This is clearly Mark Henry, who is legitimately one of the strongest men to ever live. Followed by Lesnar, Kane, and Show.

Fan of: Titus O'Neil, Ryback, Bad News Barrett, Mark Henry, Tyson Kidd, Christian, Paige, Layla, Alicia Fox

Wow! I was expecting Mark Henry to be #1. Brock Lesnar was pretty shocking.
