with both rumoured to be on the way back, do you think this is a good move from WWE? Dont get me wrong, im a fan of both especially Jericho, but if the company is realistic about building a new title picture can these 2 come back in without upsetting any pushes that are going to happen?

It looks like Mason Ryan is going to be built in a Batista mould, the big strong guy who powers his way to the top, and with the likes of The Miz, Morrison and Del Rio joining the main event scene would Jericho jump ahead of them, or would they change what he was and bring him back as a top face?

Yes, WWE badly needs them back. Their main event scene is heavily lacking star power. If anything, Jericho will help catapult some guys to the main event status that no one seems to be able to do as good as Jericho, and Batista, he can join Randy Orton and John Cena as the only credible main eventers the WWE has right now.

Jericho returning would be much better for the WWE. He could easily play a top babyface on RAW, feud with Miz, Del Rio etc. to put them over in awesome matches. Batista is just going to come back and suddenly start winning/contending for titles. And anyway, seems like Ryan is being pushed as a Batista-esque character so I personally hope Dave stays the hell away, even though the 'Hollywood' Batista heel gimmick just owned.

I dont think it would hurt the main event scene and honestly it's WWE's fault for not building up more new people to add to the title picture. It's easier for them at the moment to just bring back some established stars.

Batista was on a role with his heel character and he didnt even get to scratch the surface yet. He will be a good addition to the title picture whether it be Raw or SD.

Jericho has to finish up his career with WWE anyway so he might as well head back.

As much as i disliked Batista the times i saw him, i wouldnt be totally against him coming back. his run at the end was kind of interesting for what it was. and for the type of wrestler he is, he at least did his job pretty well. Compared to a guy like Mason Ryan, Batista is elite status.

Jericho needs to come back asap. I hope he has a great new re-debut to add to his list of them.

i know it will never happen, and others will say its retarded...but iwant jericho to return as a manager/leader of heels.

group up 3-4 young guys due for a push under his tutelage. let jericho talk mostly, let the youngin' talk for a bit. they get an association rub, so to speak. only occasionally you can put jericho in a tag match or something. its a fine way to get guys who arent great promo-ers into bigtime feuds without having tham make complete fools of themsleves on the mic(morrison). a small group could start trying to wrok together, and come to a point where they say "you know, we need leadership" another adds "i know just the guy..." next week they introduce their leader...the titantron countdown starts. and no, its not just nexus v3, its a manager with charges, like the heenan family way back when.

he said he wont return until he has something different to do, well, this is different for him.

I want Batista to return at Over The Limit.

Cena almost makes Miz say I QUIT. Batista music hits. Batista comes, takes out Cena so he passes out, cut's a promo. Batista returns, Miz doesnt quit.
Miz cuts a promo on Raw that he won. Batista comes, says he didnt do it for The Miz, he did it for himself(Revenge). Takes out Miz. Oh hell yeah

If one or both were to return then simply put they have to return as a SmackDown wrestler because that roster was absolutely raped in the draft in losing Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio, The Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston as well as Edge's retirement and The Undertaker never around outside of WrestleMania season. Obviously because Raw is a live show they could return on Raw seeing how SmackDown wrestlers seem to wrestle on Raw every week anyway but they should then be SmackDown stars after their return.

I guess having both men back and if they were to be on SmackDown would also allow Christian to remain as a top face alongside Randy Orton as Batista as a heel was the best he had been since 2005 in my opinion and Chris Jericho in between 2008 and 2010 was arguably the best heel since Triple H in between 1999 and 2001. With how Chris Jericho left WWE as well after being kicked in the head by Randy Orton surely a Orton/Jericho feud has to happen which can now only happen on SmackDown due to the draft the other week and a properly done Orton/Batista feud with Randy Orton as a face and Batista as a heel could be very good.

Both back would be great, especially Jericho, who is a star at any level of the card.

Just imagine Batista vs Mason Ryan. Be more tricky for the ref than the Bellas or the Bashams!! Actually.....have Batista and Mason Ryan each bag themself a Bella as 'manager or romantic interest' and I'll leave WWE to build that particular feud. Maybe I shouldn't......

It would be great if they bring back both of them. AS HEELS too. Both were glorious on the mic, yes even Batista could hold his own on the mic when he was a heel. However I say Raw is a bit packed with heels at the moment so I would put Batista on Smackdown for abit and feud with Orton.
