I hope the WWE doesn't ruin Kong/kharma

Here’s an opportunity for the WWE to inject some excitement into a division that needs it. But will they drop the ball as they always do? I’m just nervous that Kong will be working under the same people who thought the general wrestling community wanted to see a 30 min snooze fest between Lawler and Cole at Wrestlemania. My second concern is that she is African American which means historically, she can only go so far in the WWE.. Is Michael Hayes still around?

Just my humble opinion.

First of all, Cole/Lawler was under 14 minutes.

She's a diva. OF COURSE her career is fucked.

Here's the thing. Triple H is now in charge of character development, hence the awesome promo videos that have been airing to hype Kong's debut. However, Vince McMahon is still in complete control of booking. So, Triple H could spend all his time building her up as this great character ready to tear through the Divas division, but Vince could easily just mess that up by say, having Eve Torres beat her in a match. We'll just have to wait and see.

Apart from when Vince used to bring in Japanese talent they have always been a joke, late 90's to the middle of last decade they were a complete joke. Slightly better now.

She like doubles everyone else in overall size. Kinda hard to ruin her, who is gonna beat her cleanly other than Natalya and Beth Phoenix?

Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, Sin Cara [At least for now], etc.

Monster heels don't have a long lifespan as it is nowadays. They usually dominate for a bit, then either get jobbed out or turned into a comedy act. Add that to the fact that WWE dislikes using Divas correctly..........

I give her about four months max until she's smooching Santino.

I have every confidence that she could re-ignite the division. Despite Cole's interruptions, the division seems to be taking steps in a positive direction with the disbanding of Laycool (I really hope Layla develops a teary, psycho character), and Kharma is a sweet ring name. They just need to take the belt off Brie Bella.

I don't see how they can, she is one of the most interesting things to come into the Diva's division in years, they have hyped her debut well enough and obviously have put a lot of effort into making sure that she is a sucsess. I don't see what can go wrong? Fantastic talent, surrounded by a few Diva's that she can put on good matches with Kim, Natalya and Beth. The WWE obviously want her to work and if they want that to happen, it will.

Re: I hope the WWE doesn\'t ruin Kong/kharma

This just means that the Diva\'s are getting to get a bit more emphasis on television. Oh gawd. I hate women\'s wrestling. Anyway, here is what will happen with Kharma

-Debuts strong, destroys a few divas
-Pushed as a monster due to her size, sniffs the title
-Wins the title in dominating fashion
-Loses title to babyface after a long reign
-Asked by WWE to lose weight
-Doesn\'t lose weight
-Superstars regular
-Future Endeavor\'d
