^This. In both versions, your opponent's tailbone is supposed to be smashed near the bend of your knee. And if wrestlers are so concerned about their gonads being smashed, they should look into wearing a cup.
I always thought it had something to do with the interpretation an inverted atomic drop = balls drop onto the knee which is legal. If you drive a knee to the balls, that would be adjudged illegal.
THIS RIGHT HERE. Its more of the opponent falling onto the offenders' knee due to gravity as oppose to the offender driving his knee into his opponent's nuts while grounded
(i.e. Ric Flair).
Yeah like it's ok to do a Pedigree on the Annoucne Table, cause ya know you just stand there randomly. But seriously it's something that is njust there. The Sleeper Hold is a Choke and shouldn't be legal, yet Legends like Ted Dibiase and Piper used it, and more recently Dolph Ziggler is using it to sometimes end the Match,
Please do your research a little more thoroughly. Just repeating that it's a choke hold until your ass bleeds doesn't make it so. A choke hold by definition is a blockage of an airway passage. The sleeper hold blocks off an artery which makes it a blood choke. Blood chokes are legal in professional rasslin'.
On top of what Poffo said, there's a difference between a compression choke and manual strangulation. One requires technique, one requires strength. Hence why you always see midget jump on a giant's shoulders and execute the sleeper.
Well ain't that funny, I was just thinking of this earlier. My reasoning is that in kayfabe it's a groin shot, as opposed to a direct low blow.
Also, why aren't you allowed to hit your opponents with a closed fist? Surely if you're selling this as a real fight to the kids then grown men wouldn't have any qualms about punching each other full force?

Just had a thought here, so if a wrestler were to Irish whip someone to the ropes and then lifted their own foot just below waist level and the other person runs into the foot it would then be lagal as they did a running teabag into the other person's foot?
