What are you your opinions on the ban on juicing in the WWE at present? Are certain matches suffering as a result?

Are you happy now it's gone or do you miss it?

Its a dumb ban, i dont see anything wrong with a bit of blood in a match. I also think that ECW is suffering too. Is ECW still tv-14 or is than PG now too?

But i think it takes away from a feud. How am i susposed to buy that a wrestler had the hell beat out of him when he's clean?

I think its stupid for certain matches like the 3 stages of hell match having no blood imo was stupid. I also think it'll be stupid if they go ahead with their all hell in a cell ppv idea and have no blood in any of the matches because thats one of the things that the cell has guarnteed and i think that it adds to the effect of matches in the cell.

I don't see the logic in banning blood. The WWE is beginning to be very watered down, if it wasn't already.

The logic is that it's a PG product. Parents who aren't fans of the product but attend shows with their kids or see their kids watching it on TV react badly to profuse bleeding. A dumb parents basic opinion of wrestling is that it's fake, harmless fun.

I guess seeing one of the wrestlers being beaten into a bloody pulp makes them question that opinion.

It made my Mum question hers! I remember being about six and when we'd rent a movie I'd be allowed to grab a WWF video if they had any. One time I got a " Best Ever Cage Matches" video or something to that effect. She walked in during Hulk Vs Big Bossman and Bossman was bleeding quite heavily.

"Don't they stop it if they get cut..?"
"..no"

Didn't see another wrestling programme or tape for 3-4 months.

I don't think that it's the end of the world that there is no intentional blood but it can help sell a big rivalry in a PPV gimmick match. And we've had a lot of gimmick matches this year where the occasional blading would have benefited the performance.

They need to be running 24/7 cartoons on TV. Kids shouldn't be watching this if it makes the product boring for the older crowd.

To juice, i miss it, it defiantly add's a certain stigmatic reality to it, you see someone with blood pouring out of their head, its just... more intense. Do not get me wrong, it should not be overused, then it becomes normal, just in that type of match. I will defiantly miss juice all over the white canvas, pouring out of the guys head... i think i just realised how masochistic i am, ha ha.

When done at the right times (which was not often done before the 'ban') it can make a decent match really good. Its one of the lost arts of wrestling.

I think that PPV's at the very least should have some blood, especially if it's in a 3 stages of hell type of match.
