Y'know, BACK IN THE DAY, you never saw mid-carders going against each other all the time on TV because then what would be the incentive to tune in to Saturday Night's Main Event. You'd have been like, "*YAWN!* Saw that last week on Superstars!" Right?
Guess what we're all doing now. Cena vs. Orton on PPV? "*YAWN!* Seen it about 20 times on Raw!"
You hardly get to see a mid-carder's finisher anymore because they're constantly losing to put the top guys over. The reason we all loved Dusty Rhodes, Brutus Beefcake, the Red Rooster, Ronnie Garvin or thought Dino Bravo was a force to be reckoned with was because we actually got to see what they could do week-in and week-out in squash matches on Superstars, Prime Time, All-American and Challenge. Sure, they'd give us one feature match per show or Prime Time might have a couple of good ones between mid-carders but mostly it was Barry "Horriblwitz" getting the crap kicked out of him by Jake the Snake and then getting dry humped by Damien.
I say, let's bring those days back! You'll have headline PPV matches that are actually fresh and superstars that fans actually care about and believe in.
Good in theory however by doing that you will probably lose plenty of viewers, RAW starts at 2am in Britain on Mondays (techincally Tuesdays) absolutely no chance of me staying up to watch that if it was filled with jobbers in squash matches
The man has a point.
difference is, theyre just using superstars from the roster, not local jobbers.

Hell no, I'm not gonna stick around to watch a crappy squash match. Sure if its some random local jobber, I might watch it if its a decent match. But I don't want to see a match where some Superstar tosses around a guy for 2 minutes, the jobber gets in one kick then goes back to being demolished by a finisher. It's just not entertaining.
I know what you mean about seeing the same things on RAW/SD as you see at PPV`s. It seems every mid-card match needs to be a fued. I would like to see more random match ups. Maybee they could have a type of league system of have more tournements on RAW/SD.
Now and again is OK, but not every week and never against main-event guys. And never instead of a match you would normally expect to see on Raw/Smackdown. By this I mean that if you normally have 5 matches on a show, then adding a sixth in place of a replay from earlier on is fine by me. Oh, and occasionally they should use one of the developmental guys and have him win, just to take away some of the predictability (like they did with the 123 Kid)
